37 Disposals, 20 Contested possessions, 10 Clearances, 10 Tackles and to top it off 0 clangers. 0!!! I am almost certain that in the history of the game no player has had 37 disposals without having at least 1 clanger.

"It was as good as I've seen Pendlebury play. And he's played some pretty good games” - Nathan Buckley

Pendlebury was evidently injured pre bye and his first game post bye he was clear first half BOG before sustaining a corky which slowed him down. This was the first game he looked to be running freely in a last half/qtr.

He has been the games most tagged player in the last 4 years but this year with the game turning to more run withs and a lot less midfield tags he could really stamp himself as the games best player.

Despite pre-bye injury an AA lock as it stands and with a fresh body I back him in to have a massive last 9 games and take that AA captain spot along with bringing us to his debut final as captain.

It really was one of his best games, he just knows exactly where to be at any given time, whilst he isn't quite as flashy as Fyfe or Danger, the amount of times he positioned himself in a contest and got the ball out to safety was insane, especially in defense when there was pressure all around. As Bucks put it on AFL 360 a few weeks ago, he's more a 'death by 1000 cuts' kind of player, and i think that's just, if not more effective than Fyfes and Dangerfields bash and crash style.

I have no doubt in my mind that when he's playing to that level he's the best player in the comp.

Seriously though and I know everyone harps on about it but how farken good is he in heavy traffic. Had the ball amongst 4 or 5 hawks players and somehow waltzes out of danger without anyone coming near him.

I actually think he's a wizard.

I really hope the man can get a Brownlow before he is finished. He deserves one! here, here!
No disrespect to priddis, but hard to imagine a reality where he wins a brownlow and pendles doesnt.
But honestly, what more can a man ask for??
Gifted with all the talent in the world, captain of best club in the land, already a premiership and norm smith, and last(but certainly not least),soon to be married to an angel.

Pendles was superhuman last night. Shows of he is injury-free he will win a brownlow. Plus signs looking good for Collingwood's continued improvement next year. Could 2016 shape up as a brownlow year? (cue: "no, but that's when he'll earn title "dual norm.smith medallist ")

Bring. It. On

Pendles was amazing last night, I think he is now at Swan Circa 2010 level and will continue to rise or stay at this level for a few years to come especially with the support around him in Adams, Greenwood and Crisp.

Will be Buckley like status when he finishes up a true gem it has been watching him play for 10 years nearly.

Any luck a bit more silverware coming his way in the final years of his career

Honestly think he has 5+ years in him without a drop off, look at Sam Mitchell who is having one of his great seasons going on 33 and has very similar attributes.

Congrats on 1000 posts also :D
