How do you think the ladder should be structured?

Eg. Percentage is in charge now, therefore Fremantle are on the bottom
However if point difference were the structure, Collingwood would be last.

For this week, percentage so Collingwood aren't on the bottom. Permanently though, point difference is more logical and treats both attacking and defending equally, and sorts by margin, not team performance.
 
In lower scoring games like Soccer goal difference works better but percentage is more balanced for games like footy, cricket (shield), Basketball.
 
percentage, because you shouldn't 'punish' teams if they have to play in bad conditions, which will impact heavily on the ability to score.

Percentage is a relative calculation and therefore is comparable. As mentioned this would fall over a little bit with low scoring sports. So for the sake of simplicity more then anything they don't use it (for example football/soccer).
