Perth to talk to de-listed Kangaroo

Perth has confirmed the club will have talks with recently de-listed Kangaroos rookie Justin Perkins.

Perkins was rookie-listed by the Kangaroos in 2005.

He was elevated to the senior list for four senior games in that season before going back on the rookie-list.

Perkins was one of three players de-listed last month by the Kangaroos.

Perkins was drafted from the Perth Demons and the club is hopeful he will return to the Demons if he is not re-drafted in the AFL.

Recently appointed Perth Football Manager Damian Gaspar told FootyGoss: "Yes, we will be talking to Justin. He is a Perth boy who is highly regarded."


Not sure if this was offical or not, however was a dead cert to happen. Wasnt too bad value for a rookie listed player, just didnt have enough strings to the bow to be an AFL player, although I remember us drafting him as a defender?
