I think this would be a decent trade what would the crows think though?

Nope, Perrie's important to our structure. Especially next year, if Mark Stevens doesn't come up we can play Pez at CHF for the season giving the long term options in Watts, Hentschel and Krueger the chance to develop without the added pressure of holding down important positions on the field. Perrie is a good player when his confidence is up, it's just whenever we lost bloody Ayres used him (and Bode) as a scapegoat and dropped him, shattering his confidence and consequently the real key to him playing well.
He showed in '02 that he can play, just needs opportunities. Not saying I wouldn't trade him, but not for Humm.

Absolutely no interest in Perrie from my POV.

I think we should definitely trade Humm if the match committee don't see him in the best 22 in '05 (which they probably don't - talented as he is he's at the wrong club for an undersized midfielder) but this deal is not the one.

Besides, wouldn't he want to be traded back to Melbourne if he was to leave?

crows wont do it and neither would i. not really because hummy is a super player or perrie is bad but because we dont need someone like perrie clogging up the development of our young key forward who are 21-22 and going to have to stand up soon.

Mate, I would absolutely LOVE this trade, but, Jeremy Humm-pfft!
They won't accept it. And anyway, what a stupid thread to post.

I've heard of talking up your players during trade week, but that's just ridiculous. I'm sure I've heard you Crow lot suggest you'd trade Perrie for a box of Subi Burgers and a chocolate biscuit.

Dammit, this is just about the last chance to trade the Subi Burgers. Might have to put them in the PSD

yeah some have, but these same supporters at times struggle with a*rse elbow theorum.

Ian Perrie is a decent player with confidence issues, he is likely to be important to us next year.

does anyone know if humm is out of contract and if he can nominate for the pre-season draft, or that he is contracted and will stay at west coast?

Exactly right. I feel like 2005 is a real test for Perrie. He has always played well when he was the number 1 go to player and he will be just than next year.

With Morrison and Chambers gone it will be interesting to see if Humm gets a reprieve. We seem likely to delist at least one more player, Humm is the obvious player, but he may hang on as Midfield back-up.

To be honest if I had the choice between Humm or Rudeforth I'd take Humm.
