I was just commenting on the lack of WA coverage for this match on the Saints board. It really is pathetic the way that any West Coast or Freo match gets blanket coverage on FTA, Foxtel and every radio station in Perth, whilst other competing matches like the Saints v Swans match gets absolutely no coverage here at all.

I still can't understand the logic of showing the same match on FTA and Foxtel at the same time. I remember this also happened a few times last year, with the only replay of our match being on Foxtel at 6.00am the next morning. Real convenient.

Looks like the only way to see or hear this match live in Perth is to find a pub somewhere showing it or hook up to a link on the internet.

that is shocking surely they could work out a deal to put it on Fox inplace of the WCE game, like they did a few years back. Poor effort on behalf of the broadcasters and AFL.

The same thing has happened the last couple of years under the new TV deal. I was hoping they would come to their senses and fix it for this season but apparently not.

With the old TV deal you got to see every game live on either FTA or the Fox Footy channel, there was never any of this stupid doubling up of games like there is now. Surely the whole idea of showing the footy on Foxtel is to show any other games live that aren't shown live on FTA.

The whole set up now is just ridiculous and it's supporters of teams like St Kilda or Sydney that suffer more than most as our teams usually get less FTA coverage than the bigger clubs.

yeh, surely its not a hard thing to get around because they were doing it a few years ago. i just dont understand what the problem is, after spending millions on tv rights you'd think it'd be simple enough to show ALL the games particully in a footy state like WA.

Good to see that 30 minutes went into showing a Simpsons repeat.

This is a joke, I don't have foxtel, but still... How come fox can't broadcast the other game, or can't ONE televise Stk and Syd simultaneously seeing as FOX won't be?
