Another huge game from Belly tonight. :thumbsu:

Don't imagine we'll be hearing from the doubters anytime soon, and an apology isn't likely from those who showed such disrespect in the pre-season.

Keep it up Belly. You're setting a great example for the kids out there and giving it everything you've got.

Peter Bell is the definition of a leader. Everyone aspires to be like him and I can't recall him ever failing to deliver the goods when they were needed the most.

Tonight hurt him too. As I got home from the game the coverage was just wrapping up and he was in the rooms absolutely gutted. He wanted it badly and it hurt him so much to fall short.

Keep it up, Belly.
 
Bet he's loving Rhys Palmer in the team. With Haze gone Belly could expect the oppositions #1 tagger but tonight Thompson paid Rhys the compliment of shifting Ling off Bell and onto him after Rhys racked up early possies. Bell showed his gratitude by playing a blinder. Good stuff!

Next week the opposition will have to think about whether to tag Ibbo & D.J if he is back

He does so much of the hard stuff - thats bloody inspiring.

However, still gets involved in this going backwards, chipping around shyte, that while he and a few of the other old stagers are at our club, we will never be a truely be an on field force in this competition. A pity really he gets so many soft possesions to go with the tough stuff.

Obviously Pav had the last real chance of the game but for Macca to not make the distance from 35-40 metres with about 2:30 on the clock in the last is unforgivable.


Back on topic, Belly's a champ and playing as well as ever.

Attacks the ball hard,gets awy from the pack into the open he settles an is about 35m out takes the shot an ends up barely making it to the goal square, nearly smacked guy in the head next to me when i threw my arms out an screamed WTF was that.

Anyone think Bell might want to play next year to get to 300 games then retire??
Dont think the coaching staff would mind

Cant stomach the decision that you took Masten and we got the future Judd in Palmer can you ,well tough t***ies wce4premieship2099 youll just have to learn to live with it.

Palmer will never be judd lol at the thought of it.

He can't kick.

BTW if we get a premiership in 2099 that will make our 4th, whilst freo will still have none. :p
