Good for you! :)
I know you are used to it, but i don't think you should put up with it! This is a free world and you can be whoever you wanna be as long as you don't hurt others and i know for a fact you hurt no one.... errrrr..... well you don't intend to anyway! :o ;) :p

Getting back to the topic - whilst it was sad to see Vardy leave the Crows (no more chants of oh Vardy, oh Vardy ... or come & party with Peter Vardy), it was always on the cards, as he had become rather stale, even disinterested towards the end. His best asset (apart from his partying nature) used to be that he was a great kick from goal from any angle. On his day he was one of our genuine match winners. However, in 2001, apart from the 1st showdown game he was ordinary. He was missed many easy shots at goal he would normally kick with his eyes closed (I think he kicked more points than goals).

However, having said that - a change to Melbourne may reignite his career if he get his brain back on the park, as he does have ability & is still relatively young. But defintely is a risk.

Is he training at the moment? I heard that he had to have another groin operation?

Jerome

Sorry Jerome, I have no idea whether Vards is training, as like you I'm in Adelaide. Not sure if he is having more groin problems, but he could do with a brain-transplant.

Thanks Kane,

I'd heard pretty strong mail that he had to have another groin op. I'll double check that next week. If that is the case, then it looks like another interupted pre-season for Vards. Sorry Melbourne fans!

Nothing that a swift kick up the arse wouldnt fix. And i think i got the boot to do it. :p I'd kick his arse so hard he would land face first back in Victoria Square. LOL Oh well. I must admit i havent heard a lot about him over here, which i was surprised about..But sh1t happens. And he better not get into any. :p

I can confirm that Vards has already had his groin op. I don't know about any other injuries.
