Petterd was suburb. I loved his run, handball, run, drilled kick. He looks so calm. Everything about his game was good except for his torp attempt...a bit big-headed.

Was shocked to see Miller actually turn in traffic and hit an intelligent handball to somebody. Was almost like he suddenly developed footballing vision.

Lets not go too over the top. Yes it was a good debut but just let the kid settle as a senior footballer. Don't expect huge things of him this season as he clearly doesn't have the frame to dominate senior football yet and will probably see himself out of the senior line-up when we get our full list back.

After that little rant he is going to be a good player for us. It is good to see that we have finally drafted someone who can use the football.

I won't go over the top but a very good debut performance.
Looks composed with the ball, very courageous (Time after time he was sitting in front of Hall and took a great mark with Hall bearing down).
Good to see we've drafted a guy who can use the ball as TMac said, should be a good fixture on the HBF for years to come, but I'm not expecting that much more this year to be fair to the guy.

I don't think so. Don't get me wrong he played excellent but Selwood will probably get it. Petterd looked awesome! Cutting infront of Barry Hall on the lead takes some fair sized balls.

Glad to see your all happy to have my little cousin on your list. Was actually surprised how well he went as reports were he woud take a while to develop. I think you need a few more like him, where other senior members had given up he showed that youthful dash and excitement until the final siren.

Yeah Pettard looked ok however i still think were drafting players that we already have on the list. I know hes only young and will get bigger but we need big strong bodied kids. more of the Moloney, McLean, Syliva and Batey mold....
Theres no point having too many outside players like Yze, Bruce, Johnstone and Green. You can carry one maybe two players but not 4 marshmallows. look at the Swans none of their players are soft whilst ours are.
Unfortunately Godfrey is playing ok which means more senior footy for the *******.
