Looking to start some discussion about what Phoenix, and their new GM Steve Kerr, should do over the coming months.
Firstly, don't mess with a good thing. We were 'unlucky' in the Conference Semi-Finals. It was not because of lack of talent. If Stoudemire was healthy at the start of the season, we would have pushed 70 wins. Nash and D'Antoni want to keep the core, even if it means paying luxury tax, and Sarver has said he supports that. There are just some pieces that need to be placed around the team. My ideas are:
Draft
-24th pick- There is nobody in this area that we could use, unless Acie Law falls to us (In which case we could trade Banks for a PF/C). Probably best to trade it for a pick next year.
-29th pick, Sean Williams, Boston College, PF- If he didn't have more baggage than Artest, he would be top 10. The NBA will make or break him, worth the risk.

-59th pick, Jared Jordan, Marist, PG- Steve Nash Jr. Could push for some NBA minutes and he may be the fire that needs to be lit under Marcus Banks.

Free Agent's
Grant Hill, Orlando Magic, SF- He wants to come here, and he will only request a minimum contract. Great locker-room guy, and still has some game.
*And if they don't get drafted
Brad Newley, Australia, SG- Would be a great 'spark' to have, even if he only gets minutes in some games. Bring him on in the 4th to light it up, kinda like Eddie House used to do...
We all know him but... http://www.nbadraft.net/admincp/profiles/bradnewley.html
James Hughes, Northern Illinois, C- Bit of a 'love child' of mine... Big, athletic, plays D.

This would give us a roster like this...
PG: Nash/Banks/Jordan
SG: Bell/Barbosa/Newley
SF: Hill/Jones/Piatkowski
PF: Marion/Thomas/Williams
C: Stoudemire/Diaw/Hughes
*Both Diaw and Barbosa could each clearly start instead of Hill. It just looks more balance this way, and gives a solid G and F-C option off the bench.
With a healthy squad all year, and barring some dirty, Spurs-inflicted, playoff injuries or ridiculous suspensions, this is a Championship roster!
GO SUNS!
