I’m hoping that as he distances himself from the injuries he toughens up some of his play.

There’s a lot of potential there, but also a potential Burton.

I don't see him as being anything like Burton.

His issue has been injuries not attitude

Yep and even some of the injuries have been impact as a result of possibly going too hard; concussion and broken collarbone.

His tackles still do get broken time to time which i attribute down to his skinny lanky arms

I see more potential in Josh graduating into a gum midfielder than I previously did for Bergman. Josh's upside remains strong. His attitude since he walked in the door (in fact from 3 days before he did) lead me to think he will repay the patience in spades.

Sinn can actually defend whereas Burton is defensive liability.

Burton was a decent defender earlier in his career too before the injuries derailed him. He wasn't always a spud.

Yep, I remember him doing some really good jobs on Charlie Cameron when he was one of the best small forwards playing.

I think he's found a great niche as a shutdown small defender. Something we've lacked since DBJ lost his defensive mojo.

I can't see him developing into a gun midfielder, perhaps on the wing.
