Pick 3 ex eagles in their prime to add to the current squad that would win us the premiership this year.

For mine we need quality and speed in the midfield so Peter Matera and Judd pick themselves. Thought about Tom Swift...

Matera IMO was best player we've ever had, should've won a brownlow.
Judd, 04 to 06 was a beast!!!

Last selection is very hard, thought maybe Phil Matera as small crumbing fwd we dearly need.
But went with Chris Lewis as could play all over the field but mainly as a fwd, was quality across half fwd.

Could've easily gone Cousins, Kerr, Cox, McIntosh, Glendinning...

Cousins and Matera would add more than enough to the midfield. Woosha would have every guy willing to bleed for the jumper. Woosha is there with Kelly and Voss as the top 3 captains i've seen. 1 guys ability on the field will never match what a great captain can get out of the other 17 guys on the field.

Well he was a 2 Time All Australian Half Back and won his only B&F there...he was 27 when he moved to HB (1996), so it’s not like he was on his last legs!

I’d have him back there because I reckon he’d have more influence on the modern game out of the back line AND the current team lacks genuine pace and outstanding ball use on the rebound.
