Why not have a bit of fun and see who can get closest to the jumper numbers for the draftees. Looking at the list we've got:
27, 30, 31, 32, 36, 39, 47 & 50 available. I'm using them based on Dimmas desire to make kids earn low numbers.

For mine:
27 - Conca
30 - Batchelor
31 - Helbig
36 - MacDonald
39 - Derickx

I reckon they will leave the number 30 vacant and give it to someone who earns it because it is a famous number worn by Francis Bourke and it is famous numbers not just high numbers that they want players to earn.

14 or 24 should go to houli (give the kid a bit of confidence & sens of belonging i suppose)

7 I would like to see a dominant griffiths playing in.

11 Well seeing as how bachelor will be playing the bowden role makes sens

Also looks like number 2 could become available next year so that could go to our 1st round pick in 2011.

No not this year apart from houli,but think they would be my prefrences all things going well.

I hope they give Conca the no.14 as he has said that Paul Kelly is hero and the reason why he followed the swans as a youngster.

Would be a great move by the club to give him this number and let him aspire to reach the same heights as his childhood hero!!!

Not sure I like that. I would have preferred they give it to Batchelor as he is a dead ringer for Cuz.

Well last year didnt they just follow onto the next number once they started at 36 with Dusty. Id imagine they would follow the same format. Just depends on where they are starting and how many rookies we will have.

So you'll have

Conca
Batchelor
Helbig
MacDonald
Derickx
Rookies etc

Miller would get a middle of the road number. Houli will get what he wants.
