Yes he is. He dominated the competition in a professional era where we had some of the greatest key defenders of all time.
Certainly a lot more versatile, dynamic and consistent than certain blokes from the late 70's - 80's.
His only blemish is never winning a premiership but Pavlich carried a team which was inferior in talent to challenger's at the time.
I think he's the equal of Nick Riewoldt and arguably Fremantle's greatest player.
