Pickett played his first game for Sandy. 7 bone crunching tackles makes me excited.

I can tell you he wasnt that impressive. Played on one of our draftee's, Kyle Reimers, and had about 6 possessions on him up until half way through the third quarter . It was only after Kyle went of the ground ,due to a bone crunching takle from Johnson , that he picked up a few kicks and got into the game. The report in the paper was pumped up a lot .

Davey, Bate, Johnstone and Pickett all got injured around the same time - we basically lost every skillful kicker we had in one go. Cost us games against Sydney and Carlton imo.
