Most supporters "Support" their team rather than abusing the other team. Unfortunately, Collingwood supporters seem to have the most of these idiots that wish for pain or injury on opposition players or just bag the other team when they are winning rather than supporting Collingwood. It must make them feel better.

Even my Collingwood mates have this mentality, it must just grow on them from being around each other!

Collingwood '09 = Port '07

Malthouse should know better, bad luck Mick you've already made the mistake

Well, supporting a team like the Pies, they got nothing to hang on to. ;) But even their coach admitted in Rnd 3 that us at our best >>> Pies at their best.

I think it's just a few supporters anyway. Some of them are okay, the bad ones give them all a bad name.

Never thought I'd ever see the day, but I had to agree with Caroline Wilson on Footy Classified last night. They were talking about Malthouse's article in the Australian on Saturday saying Bomber Thompson is under immense pressure, and Caroline was saying that Malthouse is under just as much pressure, if not more, than Bomber would be. Consider the coaching records of the two at their current clubs up until this week:

Malthouse: Coach of Collingwood since 2000.
Played: 234
Won: 121
Lost: 113
Drawn: 0
Win %: 51.71%
Ladder positions: 15, 9, 2, 2, 13, 15, 7, 4, 6, 4(after H&A)
Average ladder position: 7.7

Thompson: Coach of Geelong since 2000
Played: 233
Won: 141
Lost: 89
Drawn: 3
Win %: 60.51%
Ladder positions: 7, 12, 9, 12, 4, 5, 10, 1, 2, 2(after H&A)
Average ladder position: 6.4

So, although Malthouse is at the helm at the "biggest club in Australia" and they regularly play 15-16 games at the MCG year in, year out, he's yet to have landed a flag for Collingwood, whereas Thompson has coached in one less game than Malthouse over the journey, yet has chalked up 20 more wins and 24 less losses than his Collingwood counterpart, and has managed to keep Geelong out of the bottom 4 throughout his tenure, while Collingwood has finished bottom 4 three times under Malthouse.

Keep deflecting the pressure though Malthouse, you muppet.

I sure hope Floggingwood play on Saturday Night by what they said in the Herald Sun today.
Don't worry, their Supporters are mostly uneducated bogans so the verbal diarrhea being spewed from them lately doesn't surprise me one bit.

I put this on the main board and it looks like it got lost and went straight through to the keeper. A great shame. Would have been some excellent fish caught.

This is truly the greatest time to be a non pies supporter.

Opportunities like this come along very rarely

You can feel the excitement and anticipation in the pies supporters.
You can see them walking down the street with their dirty little white caps.
But have a look at their eyes, they're gleaming. There's a glint of optimism.

Have a good look. File it in your memory. Because there is absolutely nothing better in this world than to see the same person a week later with the sunken eyes of a week old dead fish.

The metamorphosis will be complete in 5 days time

I love it.
Cherish it.

I was hoping for some injuries in the Adelaide v Collingwood game. Wasn't really necessary as we were going to pump whoever got through. Would have made our job easier though.

Funny you should mention that. I was walking to the shops today with my Geelong shirt on, and I walked past a magpie sitting on a fence, and it took one look at me and flew off. I wonder if it was because of my shirt. ;):p

Is there an error here? We finished top of the ladder in 2008.
