He was a nominated rookie this year & upgraded in March.
I thought he auto returned to the rookie list at Seasons end?
Or has that rule changed & he simply remains on the senior list?
If so, then we have to use 3 live picks 27, 65 & 77

Not sure. I'd assume the rules were the same. Could be it just hasn't been reported yet.

Yeah not sure what is happening with Frost and our other rookies. I expected to hear something by now.

Even though he was upgraded as a nominated rookie in March I'm pretty sure Frost will still need to be "drafted" onto the main list full time via the ND. Pretty sure he signed a 2 year extension at the start of 2015 too so we would have to pay him out if we delisted him (unlikely).

Not sure how slow the flow of info is this afternoon. May still happen. If nothing further is reported on the club site for the rest of the afternoon it will have me stumped.

Just did a bit of research and Kane Lambert (amongst others) was a nominated rookie prior to the start of this season; same as Frost.

It was reported today that Lambert has been nominated for a senior list position. So it is not automatic just because of a previous long term elevation.

From memory we even had to draft Jarryd Blair after he was a premiership player; having played in 2010 as a rookie. Think that's the only time that has happened.

Good stuff. There it is. Just Pies leaving it all until the last minute again.

We can still cull the list further in the lead up to the drafts if we need too. Just needed to get the nominated rookie elevations done today.

Now for the DFA period to start tomorrow. Wright or Harper the only ones I'm interested in. Although Saad might be a rookie chance seeing as we were linked to him in the trade period.
