whatever he touched turned to gold

I particularly liked his squib in the 3rd qtr when he pulled out of the marking contest to McQualter that resulted in a goal. :thumbsu:

God help him if anyone large ever runs at him. :D

I prefered his one handed mark over montagna, but i guess people see things differently:rolleyes:

Hi Jeff, enjoyed the game tonight no doubt. Good for your boys to get a hitout at the G given thats where the grand final is played.

I liked the look of that Robert Eddy. Give him a couple of years he'll be your next Mick O'Dwyer.

People do see things differently. You say everything he touched turned to gold and that his decision making and execution were great.

I watched him turn the ball over going inside 50 and watched him miss a few targets too. Just to back that up i had a look at the stats and his efficiency was 67%, Marc Murphy's was 73%

I will admit Gibbs had a good match tonight, but it is nowhere near as good as you seem to think it was

i was a little over the top, most of his posessions were good but he did have 1 clanger and a coupel of innefective possesions i guess.

However his ability to break through tackles was what got me excited.....it seemed like no one could lay a hand on him. He did play very well, but i guess you are right i am exagurating a bit;)

He outmarked a bloke smaller than him?

Wow.

Is there any limit to the boys talent?

Hi Jeff, enjoyed the game tonight no doubt.
No actually.

It's frustrating as hell watching 3 maggots try and engineer a Carlton win. Actually make that 5 maggots - you had the goal ump's on the same page too.

I suspect we've again triggered another Carlton losing streak because I can't see you winning another game this year.

That's good. :thumbsu:

You can make that 6 because Gwilt was definantly on our side tonight as well

Gibbs is much better then McMahon, Ill give you that. Equally as soft but more talented.

So tell me Barry, did Gibbsy stay well clear of that brute of a man Milne?

Hi Bomba. Good to see you dont miss a beat.

I was referring to Houli as the poor man's Jordan McMahon. One thing I will give Basheer is that he no doubt could grow a better mo than Jordie. Houli looks like he's been shaving since grade 2.

You know all about (boxed DVD) streaks down at Moorabbin dont ya JD?

Barry, perhaps I was a little too subtle for you but I was attempting to change the meaning of what you wrote to show that I dont rate Gibbs very highly. Must have gone over your head. I knew you were referring to Bashar.
Why wasn't Gibbs tagging a man tonight. Received much credit for his sterling jobs as a tagger:o Would have expected him to tag any one of the Saints midfielders who tore your team a new one tonight.

Incidentally, Cloke, Wiggins, Edwards, Russell, Anderson, Carrazzo etc will not lead you to a premiership.

And to think that Carrazzo was your B & F only last year:o:thumbsu:

Bomba, if you honestly believe that Houli is half the palyer Gibbs is, you are either mentally handicapped or Lebanese.

Incidentally Peverill, Winderlich, Watson, Laycock, Dyson, Slattery, Johns, Jetta, Johnson, Lovett-Murray, Monfries, McPhee, Michael, Nash, Ramanauskas, Welsh etc will not lead you to a premiership.

Agree with the ones I bolded. Considering you would have seen Monfries destroy Carlton recently Im surprised you put him on the list. Has had a good season after a lacklustre past couple of years. Dont rate Jetta? If you can, watch a copy of last weeks game against Freo;)
Laycock may well not make it. Future is bright at Windy Hill.

Monfries - played one good game in 3 years. Pardon my pessimism.

Jetta - small forward who averages 3 possesions and 0 goals a game.

Laycock - probably needs another 5-6 years to come good.

Monfries has been great for at least the past 6 weeks. You have to watch Essendon more often. Jetta had more then 5 goal assists last week. Ecstatic that we took him and not Grigg.
Laycock probably will never come good. Better then all your rucks though:o

Have you realised yet how insignificant your club is? Nobody cares about the Demons. Sad, but it is the truth:(

LOL.

I think more people care for the Melbourne Football Club than your shitty little western suburb local footy club, Essendon.

Sorry to have to break it to you.
