Hooker/Carlisle not going anywhere. They are the core of our backline, just re-signed on with the club and the Dees backline isnt that bad.

They will want onballers. It would cost Myers, pick 22 if we get it and probably another somewhat experienced players (Howlett, Jetta or Hocking) to get anywhere close to pick 2.

I dont see a lot of trading from us. Crameri has forced our hand. We may get another in the second round for Gumbleton (or even Freo's first).

Other option is we give them ruck depth.
Ryder + Howlett for pick 2.
And we take a massive gamble on Aish being that good (or even Boyd slipping) and rely on Tbell/Daniher/Gumbleton as rucks....

Since when is 2 rucks classed as having depth. Wowee i think we have a looney.

That's what I was driving at. Freo may need a bit more convincing to drop their first by 10 picks, maybe the dogs and them even it out with swaps of later picks.

Jetta wouldn't get a look in at Freo, they have absolutely no need for him.

Only just looked in on the thread but...
I'm thinking something either side of a straight swap for these two;maybe some meaningless steak knife pick swap just 'coz that's how the recruiters get paid to think and behave but really straight swap is where it's at.
I also hope they get it done.Two players who've still got plenty to offer and haven't got much traction at their current club.
