I'm Going with Corey and Kornes as my 2 premiums:thumbsu:

Nah i think having too in that price range is a bit much.

Im looking at something like:

Kane/Deledio
Priddis
Gibbs/Boak/Sewell etc
Adcock
Cousins/Hasleby
Rich

But if you dont have cox, i spose i could trade priddis up to corey.

I've got cox also, i see where your coming from lakey but im just not sold on Gibbs,Boak,Priddis in stepping up to the elite bracket just yet. But i could be wrong. My mids at this stage are
Kornes
Corey
Cousins
Hazelby
Rich
Skipworth
Couglan:emg
Dangermouse:emg

I'ts allowed me to splash out a bit in other areas.

Longytap, how many rookies to you currently have in your 22?

Well it depends on how you define Rookie. For me a Rookie is someone who has not played a senior game or someone who has just been drafted. So i don't classifiy Grimes,Rusling,Skipworth as rookies. But to answer your question at this stage i'm starting 1 maybe 2 rookies in Rich and the other i'm not sure until the NAB cup:)

Will Grimes get into the 22? I am pondering between Hurley (lower scorer, harry t like?) and Grimes. I think Hurley might get more games.

Yeah i've got Hurley as emg also. he might not score huge but i reckon he'll play a fair amount of games from the word go. safe cover, :thumbsu:

I reckon Deledio will average 110+ this year and I know exactly why......Pick him and i trust you will not regret it.

Wanna share? Deledio has higher ceiling for me, but kane is proven and durability king.

How many below petterds price (152k?) in 22?

I have 4 players in my 22 under Petterds price ($152.100). Obviously your idea of a rookie differs from mine. but when you consider Skipworth has played 50 odd senior games( i think) Rusling has played a few, there hardly rookies even though there price suggests otherwise.

Rusling, Skippy, COughz and others are considered rookies with regards to the game DT not actual AFL rookie players.

Everyone has their own opinion but i think you should try and think the same as the rest as it makes it alot easier.

Indeed. Going to be interesting to see if Skipworth gets into the side. Article on AFL.com.au says knights is looking to go tall in the forward line, which is great for potential Lucas owners (me).

http://afl.com.au/News/NEWSARTICLE/tabid/208/Default.aspx?newsId=71135

The second-year coach plans to play Matthew Lloyd, Scott Lucas, Jay Neagle and the returning Scott Gumbleton up forward, and to assign other tall timber to the attacking half.

"Throw in Adam McPhee and David Hille, who goes forward a bit, and I guess we'll resemble a tall timber forest, but I'll stick to it because we've just got to get games into Neagle and Gumbleton," Knights told The Sunday Age.

I reckon skippy will get games, knighta got him for reason. Im not a huge fan of the idea to recruit skippy but they obviously saw somthing??

I thought they were worried about going too young.Skppy is 25/26ish, got experience on an AFL list and i think they wanted to reward his persistence. Either way, don't know if he can get into the side for round 1. He might be a depth player (only get games if there are injuries). Have to watch his NAB. Zaharakis is another one i will have to watch.

Yeah i'ts hard to tell at this stage, the NAB should answer sum questions. my seventh fwd spot is up for grabs out of Gumby,Rusling,Hentschel???

I might put someone with an obvious injury history like one of those three on my bench, but i dont think i would start them in my 22 round one.

DWD just means for comparison/discussion that skipworth/rusling (etc) should be classified as a rookie in discussion. Just cos theyve been on an AFL list is irrelevent IMO, as it is part of DT discussion - especially at this time of year when structure is being discussed and determined.

For example, it would create confusion if i said i had a team with no starting rookies, then posted it only to show skipworth, coughlan and rusling all in my starting 22.

I was confused about the last bit, about how you should follow everyone's opinion and not your own.

DWD means, he might not classify rusling/couglan/skipworth as rookies himself, but for general discussion it might be better to say that they are rookies (to get an idea of structure etc)

In the fan planner it has Skippy as a 91k rookie price. Will he be? He has a previous DT history with Adelaide. Stuart Dew was only out of the game for 1 year, can anyone else think of someone that wasn't in DT for 2 years to come back?

Thus i said "everyone has their own opinion"

I probably didnt say the next thing right. I was saying not to necessarily change your opinion because of me, but to change it so it is clearer to understand how many rookies you actually. Otherwise you can add extra words every time you post " I have 2 rookies starting who havnt played a game which i think are rookies, but i also have Rusling, Hentschel, Coughlan, Skipworth starting who i dont consider rookies"

Hey if your okay wasting your energy and time than go for it, say the extra sentence each time, otherwise consider them rookie for DT perspective so others can see how many you actually have, or man ycould say they have no rookies and some could say they have 5 but they have exactly the same side. Up to you what you do but i couldnt really care less.;)
