With all the talk about trades this year, I'm wondering what happens if a player is traded from club A to Club B but club B doesn't want to pay him as much as club A had been. Is this sorted out beforehand, with the player and his manger involved? If they can't agree, can a player prevent a trade if he's not happy with what his new club would pay him?
Keep in mind also that some deals are rushed at the last minute as time runs out, making discussion of payments difficut if there is disagreement.
In a similar situation, if a player goes to the PSD such as Judd to Richmond, what happens if Richmond don't want to pay him as much as he wants? Does he sit out the year for nothing and get traded in 2008.
