1. King - pushed out of ruck contests too often. Didn't really impact but when he went off injured we were stuffed.
2. Harley - Can't really fault him. Perhaps carried an injury but he didn't really do much wrong.
3. Bartel - didn't have his usual impact. Perhaps played behind the ball a bit too much or perhaps Kirk had the better of him.
4. Mackie - not much impact off the bench.
9. Kelly - excellent - probably our best throughout the game. Found the pill, used it, can't ask for much more.
10. Tenace - found it a bit but wouldn't really say he used it well or had an impact.
11. Corey - excellent in the first half with hard at it attacks from half back but didn't really have the same impact in the second half.
16. Gardiner - few opportunities, kicked a goal but did nothing to suggest he deserved his spot or that he is in our first 18.
18. Kingsley - not good enough. What Malcolm said and poor second efforts.
19. Egan - not bad at all on O'Loughlin. Continued his stellar second half of the year. Proved once again that he has been a real find this season.
20. Johnson - found a fair bit of the ball and kicked a couple of goals but I just didn't think he was his usual damaging self.
21. Mooney - wasn't in the game in the first half like he was in the past few weeks. When thrown into the ruck he held his own.
22. Playfair - great soccer goal but didn't really impact apart from that.
27. Sanderson - can't really remember him doing much. Maybe intercepted a couple of Hall leads.
28. D Johnson - not bad for a first game back. Kicked a clutch goal but didn't really have a great impact.
29. G Ablett - Was scragged all night and battled an injury for a pretty good effort. He'll be a superstar if he learns how to shrug a tag or if the rule committee changes cracks down on scragging.
30. Scarlett - excellent. Beat Hall most times it came down there and rebounded well.
33. Rooke - excellent first half, great tackling, a real tribute to himself for the last few weeks after the Robertson debacle. Rooke epitomises what this team is (or should be) all about.
39. Milburn - Not much impact. Can't remember him doing much.
41. Hunt - Kick outs were fair. Another who didn't impact much.
44. Enright - not bad returning after 7 or so weeks, but looked a bit lost and will be a gun next season barring injury.
45. Ling - tried his guts out. Looks slow as, but reads the game beautifully, has a superb football brain and is an asset to the club.
