The Glenelg games I saw him play he played mainly across HB with some stints in the midifeld.....but IIRC he started down forward one game and kicked 6 for the match???

That was his standout boom match, a thousand possessions, six goals. He certainly knows where they are. His goal on Saturday was silk.

I think he's too versatile to be a forward.
Be a waste. But he can kick goals as you've seen.
At the moment he's just coming across as a really handy utility player.
Halfback for mine.
He's got good rebound pace and has the potential to hurt teams
in that respect. Give him another season....
He'll burn 'em.

Personally I'd play him across half back as well.....posters here bemoan our lack of foot skills coming out of defense, but as soon as they hear a whisper that we may play him across HF everybody slots him there in their best 22's.

HB for mine, reasons: very disciplined and accountable.....reads the play coming down well....very composed witht he pill, makes good decisions and makes players miss tackles with his evasion skills....then will most likely hit the leading player lace out :thumbsu:

Risking the ire of most posters, with our added midfield depth this year, I would also keep Walker down back meaning we have accountability and rebound in AW and Gibbs, with Scotland playing the sweeper role.....andwith Jamison and Waite holding down key posts it provides the nucleus of a solid back 6.

yeah good call Gilly.
Check Ross Gibbs 85-86.
Super backman.
His main skills were his super accurate kicking and he
had the coolest head under pressure. Even cheeky cool at times.
He'd been under the pump and just nail a target.
When he got older he became a static forward
and kicked bags for victor harbor. 155 in his first year...then 168!
Bryce has the sweet kicking and the cool head...
I just hope he never adopts his dads moustache...
shocker!
