We call Luke Power Scoota but some call him Ferret. Shane 'Jim' Morrison. Browny has been called GBH. Mal is 'The Rock'. Bradshaw is 'Danny Boy'. From the kids.

Here are some of the player nicknames the mob I go with in Melbourne have:

1. Clark Keating - Bodgie or The Bodge.
Before his latest hairstyle he reminded us of an Aussie Bodgie circa 1962. Can ya just picture him driving around in an old two-tone early '60's Holden? (Well, maybe you can't?).
2. Jonathon Brown - JB or Hi-Fi.
There's a chain of stores down here called JB Hi-Fi!
3. Daniel Bradshaw - Bernie or Son Of Bernie.
Kicking style reminds us all of Bernie Quinlan. The theory goes that during an off-season visit to country Vic. in the late '70's Bernie Quinlan fell in love with a girl and .....
4. Jarrad Brennan - The Waiter or CLAG.
We haven't settled on this one yet. Whatyareckon, could CLAG glue could sponsor him?
5. The Scott Brothers - The Cray Brothers.
Twin Boover Boys from London's East End, circa early 1960's.
6. Daryl White - Inspector Gadget.
I know, Fletcher from Essendon gets called this but so what.
He's the original Gadget Man.
7. Beau Mac - The Giraffe.
All gangly legs and arms like a new-borne Giraffe.

Beau Mac is Big Beau, Beau-zo or maybe Big Mac

Johnno is Jacana Boy

Daniel Bradshaw is Braddles (because I used to hate it when Carlton supporters called Craig Bradley that)

Clark Keating is Superman (Clark Kent, gettit?)

Craig McRae is Ah McRae, you've done it again.

Lynch is just Lynchy, but you have to say Lyyyyyyyynnnnnchhhhhyyy

Similarly, Darryl White is Daaaaarrrrrrryll (from The Simpsons episode where they are taunting Darryl Strawberry)

Steven Lawrence used to be Robocop. He used to collide so much with opponents we used to figure he must have replaceable body parts.
