I had a Footscray jumper 14 for David Thorpe.
He bailed to the tigers and so I did too.
So I had a Richmond 14
Then 33 for Cloke,8 for Roach and Finally 22 for Barry Rowlings.

Long time reader first time poster.
I had Geoff Raines (4) on my duffle coat and Disco (8) on my jumper.
2 years ago I spoke to the club and sent them my old jumper and they got Disco and Jack to both sign it for a donation of $800 to the FTF.
The club copied the idea and started selling the same set up.

Welcome to BF Gale force. Enjoy your time here.

I thought we were talking about what we wore when we played. :D
As a Royce fan when I was young, it was obviously number 4 for me, but I never got anywhere near it.

I dunno about these days, but at a lot of junior clubs in the '80s, the numbers at correlated with jumper sizes: small sizes in single digits, and going up to larger sizes in the 20s and 30s. I was a tall kid, so I always had to wear a jumper in the 20s, and I was spewin :D

The lowest number I ever wore was 13 in under-18s.

anyway, I really came here to post this photo on Jim Jess. Bloody hell! :p

Had quite a few as a kid in the early 90s.

33 and 30 speak for themselves.

The 5 that I wore was a bit funny. Wayne Hernaman turned out to be a bit of a letdown. Then Jamie Tape had about the same impact.

Also Chris Naish's 6 and I had a number 9, but I refused to wear it.
