True, but that has a bit more to do with a choke or two in finals (2016 and 2019 PFs)

Without derailing the thread - that’s the entire point. People forget we were serial chokers 2011 and 12 - we moved past it and won flags.
In fairness to Hawthorn, I think Collingwood were still a much better side in 2011. But 2012, yes.
I don’t remember the “perennial choker” tag being thrown around, not after you jagged one early in 2008.
