Apart from the obvious - Chappy, GAJ, Selwood.

Those who I reckon stood up when needed were"

Taylor - judgement and poise
Byrnes - great last 1/4. faith repaid
J Corey - tough in close as always, lifted in the second 1/2
Tomahawk

Others?

I thought Bartel had a pretty good game but Taylor and Chapman were the real standouts for me. Both were absolutely brilliant.

Rooke and Hawkins! Too think the Tommahawk has experienced 2 GFs already at his age too!

And of course my favorite, CHAPPY.

CHAPPY CHAPPY CHAPPY MAKE US VERY VERY HAPPY :)

:thumbsu:

Chappy is obvious.

Taylor did a superb job on Reiwoldt and showed outstanding composure.

Mackie's work was excellent.

Kelly was near best.

It was good to see big blake, actually just throw the ball on his boot... Kick it big fella. What a game, all the boys where Awesome.

Our defence won us the game.

Bartel awesome on Hayes after Qtr time.

Selwood & Rooke are uncompromising.

Mooney & Hawkins stood up by kicking 4 goals out of 12.

Other than Milburn's blunder, he was excellent.

Ling's 3rd qtr was terrific.

Shannon Byrnes can hold his head high.

Ablett showed why he's the best in the comp.

Thought every player on the ground had a real go.

How has Jimmy Bartel not been mentioned?! Hayes destroyed you on the first quarter, then Bartel went on him and kept him quiet for most of the game.

well said mate:thumbsu: jimmy really didn't standout but as long as Hayes didn't.

exactly, it was our back line that stood up when needed.

taylor, scarlett, harley, mackie, milburn and enright.

if the saints had that many inside 50's entries against any other side, it would have been a whitewash premiership win for them.

no doubt chapman was best on ground.

I loved how Jimmy had 16 tackles in a GF - thats tough football

And I feel really happy for Mark Blake :D...I think he and Ottens worked their hearts out :thumbsu:

I know this bloke, he's called Travis, last name Varcoe.

Was absolutely amazing in the final quarter, looked so composed, not at all worried by the moment.

A Star of the future.

He had some brilliant little touches that set up a couple of goals for Chappy but he made a few too many mistakes for my liking. Not convinced he was better than Stokes would've been.

That's not to say I don't admire him as a player, he has loads of heart and can be an absolute gun. I just don't think he had his best match today. Give him a few years and he'll be one of our stars. :thumbsu:

I cant believe i heard people saying Gram should have gotten Norm over Chappy, Chappy had 8 inside 50s, highest goal scorer on the pitch and demanded the ball whenever he was on...

WITH A TORN HAMSTRING according to Bomber.

Saw on Superfooty Chappy and Gram got 9 votes each, Chappy won on a countback. Good call abt Jimmy - 16 tackles awesome, just seems to fly under the radar which is why I did not mention him in the OP.
