Leadership With King absent or playing injured it brought pressure on this area of his game. He needs a pre-season to get a battered 26 year-old body right. Ling has natural leadership and Playfair could become a surprise leader should his form keep improving

Name a key forward that did lead well on the night. (Captain) Hall got a bath, O'Loughlin was relatively quiet, Kingsley was terrible. It wasn't a night for forwards and any judgement of his overall capabilities on that night isn't going to be fair.

I know we have had this discussion before but this bloke is just not going to take us anywhere fast and thats just a fact, stupid dropped chest marks, worst decision making in the history of the game, can't kick, ruck work is average and we all stick up for him.

He is no better then mensch was and he along with 3-4 others was the reason we lost that game, i would offload him along with Bartel if he wants to go and chase another key forward loke a Fev, Tarrant or even Polak.

That play on was a joke and how he can't kick a football still has got me stuffed, had enough of him and enough of everyone saying give him time, there is no sucj thing, the time was friday nite to stand up when king went down and he couldn't

Playfair didn't have his best of year...agreed...but remember he broke his jaw he was out for some weeks came back was a little weak but look back on his last 3 games he took some great marks.... If you are going to diss people about how there playing take a look at Gardiner he was no where near as good as Playfair this year. Tarrent wouldn't do anything for the cats, whats he done for Collingwood help them loose 2 grand finals, besides pies wont get rid of Tarrent....Cats wont get rid of Playfair, Playfair can only get better and he will...
