That's bullshit I got so lucky buying a pair for $30 a couple of months ago. Guy didn't know anything about VR and could of sold them for more but I was pretty happy. Was an hour and half drive but worth it.

Well. That was awesome. For anyone around the age of 40 it's the stuff we couldn't even conceive of when we were kids.

Took a while to set the camera up though. What kind of distance do you guys have it from the headset? Initially I had the camera set up on the unit under the screen which is about 3 or 4 metres from the couch. Wouldn't have a bar of it. I had to build a box column about a metre high in between the screen and the lounge so it's only about 2 metres from the headset for it all to work properly.

Rush of Blood is pretty naff but wifey likes it so it'll stay for now. VR Racing I could do until my eyes fell out of my head. Love it. Same with Eve Valkyrie. Looks amazing. Will be buying both full titles today. Battlezone was the first thing I tried. Pretty intense.

Clearly the next thing I need to look at is a decent pair of headphones. Any recommendations given the strap needs to accommodate the headset strap too?

Also, I don't really want to spend a lot of money at EB because they've been pricks to me in the past but they have this deal going where you can take any game back before Jan 15 for a refund no questions. Pretty compelling as I'm not sure JBs have the same policy.

The PS4VR Plantronics headset is great. The cable is set up as to not interfere with the VR

On special right now too. Have seen it for sub $100 too

Do you mean the RIG4VR?

Do you also know with these online EB prices, are they available in the store as well or do you need to buy online and pick up in store to get that price? Their universal remotes are $29 at the moment online, normally $50.

Generally speaking all the prices on their site are the same in-store unless stated "online only price".

There's actually a review someone's placed on the JB site that rates them poor because the light colour of the plastic reflects the VR headset's lights and throws the camera off. :/
 
Quite addicted to Dangerball. :$

Can't get past round 4 in the tournament though. I'm also going to have a sore neck tomorrow I think.

Not sure how they go with the VR, but the Sony Headsets are amongst the best for their price:

Apparently a new resident evil 7 demo has been released, not the Kitchen, the real demo and it's getting great reviews. At work and can't check the ps store so anyone free to see if it's out here.

I downloaded the new free demo last night. Look in the PlayStation shop - open up the Resident Evil game & there next to the Kitchen demo is the new free one. Has anyone else played Rez or Thumper - dying to discuss with someone!!

Thanks. Massive demo is 7GB. Pump for this. This is the big breakout VR game we have all been waiting for and the demo is meant to be terrifying so if that's anything to go by this game should awesome when it comes out.
 
Ended up chucking a pre-order in at EB, told me probably next week they'd have it in stock.

Am pumped and I am Batman.

Have one of the move controllers from ages ago but wouldn't mind the twin pack that's sold out every where and am not giving the scum on Ebay 220 bucks for them.

Suggestions on games?

Sure it still isn't the one called 'Beginning Hour'?, still cant see it on the PSN store, and the BH demo is still the same demo.

I had a look for it too and couldn't see it. I could see RE7 stuff but none of it had the VR banner on it.
