Yarren was a lazy spud over here before going over there. Why on earth would we want him back Eagle?

A lazy spud with more talent than Rich or NicNat according to all the pre-draft track-watchers in the west. Why would we want him to leave?

i would not hesitate making chris yarran part of a deal to get daniel kerr. Kerr might be 7 years older but clearly we are never going to see the best of yarran because his laziness and lack of application are so evident.

kerr for yarran straight swap!!!!!!!!!

Are you ******ed? :o I actually feel sick that you "think" your a Carlton supporter.

We are doomed...we lack hope and we lack inspiration.

Of course that's not necessarily the case but pinning our hopes on snagging a declining twenty million year old in the current footy climate would suggest it.

Geelong and Saint Kilda won't be disappearing any time soon and we have a spoon-fed juggernaut by way of the Gold Coast just around the corner.

Get a grip people, we need quite a lot to go right plus a good deal of inspiration. It's not 'business as usual' time, we need subtly. I can't help but hear the "derrr!" voices of the half-wit heavies from the old Bugs Bunny cartoons when I read all these posts.

Buggered if I know. :p I'd be trying to trade into the draft and try to really target some kids that we can develop. Or else trade for players from other clubs that have talent but might not be getting a go for whatever reason at a strong club. We need a multi-pronged attack when it comes to trading and the draft.

Lets not obsess over weaknesses either because it usually means that we over-compensate and look at players through rose-coloured glasses.

P.S I know you were being sarcastic with that creepy bloke from Carnivàle. ;)

Because NicNat is a superstar, haven't you read the news. He's had about 3 kicks in 3 weeks.. one from a metre out... a 5 metre soccer.... and a dribble from 30. His run is excellent, if only he could bounce the ball and it actually came back to him for once. I'll look forward to the day when he actually learns to kick the ball in the air.

LOL idiot West Coast supporters deluding that Kerr still has some value. He has always been riding the coattails of his more talented teammates and been exposed badly as a fraud, 3rd string midfielder.

Would trade you just about Nick Stevens for him if willing.

Murphy + first rounder = Epic lols :D :D :o

Hang on, I suggested it and it isnt that bad an idea.

The trade suggested was Kerr for Yarran and your pick 1 (about 10).

You lack hardness around the ball and Kerr instantly improves you and in fact makes your midfield elite. We already know that he and Judd work well together.

Yarran has some issues and doesnt love Melbourne - which is hardly fatal but he is a big chance to come home when he is finished his rookie deal.

Pick 10 is a good but not great pick.

Sure, if Yarran is unable to be traded it doesnt work, but you genuinely reckon thats a bad deal for Carlton?

Done send Kerr over now please, however you only get pick 10.

Kerr without Judd = average

Kerr with Judd = top 10 AFL player
