I am a non Freo supporter.
I made the mistake of going to watch the match from Qld on Sunday.

What a debarcle.Farsicle at best.

Your team played with no soul, no passion. no noise, no effort.

I was disgusted at that tripe they dished up.

The lady in front of us sumed it up perfectly, she was a freo member from perth.
The players will just go back to perth, and it will be ok. they are not accountable, they get paid to play like this.its not right. i paid good money to come over to see this rubbish. Her and her 3 friends came over for the match. They were very very angry.

I suppose I am used to it. They never win in Brisbane.
Your players and club seem to think that winning a Derby is everything, erll its not.

They need to toughen up, they are playing professional sport, not tiddlywinks.

Chris Scott must be livid.
He was out in the pre game warm ups, with the players, actually doing stuff with the players. It was good to see.

If the players dont want to be there, then delist them now.

Excuse me for the rant. You can all gob off at me now.

I swear to god you have posted a rant the exact same after attending your last Freo game.

I must admit, I did think of Kapow after the loss and the fact every time he goes the team loses

:o

yep. it was not flash, and to be up by 50 points and then lose was disgusting.

I couldnt even hear your players talking too each other. I dont know what the answer is, but they need to actually want to play to win at all costs for each other.
mediocraty is not acceptable. The way they rolled over without a whimper was embarassing for them as football players as individuals. Only a few could hold their heads up, the rest were a waste of space.

Is that acceptable for the club and board. I seriously hope not.
Do they bask in Derby glory too much.

This is typical of people who aren't in the state commenting on the Dockers. Not a personal dig at you campbell, its what the media jump on time and time again. The Derby had nothing to do with that Melbourne debacle. And to answer your question, no they don't, not any more. It's an important game (for reasons I won't go into), but not that big a deal. I assure you, that game is long out of their minds right now.

Thats right PapaJ... I find the whole playing for a "derby" thing a contrieved pile of horse shit that was more than likely authored by some peanut up the road to help deal with loss... Anyways regardless of what we think of it - it's stuck on us...
The club are the only ones that can change it...
I really liked what SPEEDWAGON typed...
It's time to put Fremantle back into Freo'

Maybe that's what Harvey should have replied when asked what Fremantle stood for...

"Fremantle stands for putting the Fremantle back into Freo".

okay, I am not based in your state, so have no idea really I suppose.
But what the heck is put the fremantle back in freo. To an outsider its just a bunch of words.

Also, having been involved with my club and knowing players personally.I do know that they get themselves up for one match and in the scheme of who they are and what they do, if that match is super important then it can mean a lot more than say winning interstate is to the players.

Until your players get it right, in their heads.Until they will walk over hot coals for each other on the field and off, then you have a disjointed unit of players.

They need to be cohesive, as mates. They need to enjoy playing for each other, they need to want to run that extra bit to get the ball, not give up.

Do you guys have bonding stuff, like weekly bowling nights as a group? or a bbq on a rotational basis, a backyard cricket match fortnightly at someones place. Just the players, no gf's, just the blokes and coaches. as a male bonding thing. It works, just ask Chris Scott.
They have fun together, they bond as mates. Its part of a successful winning culture of a team. My team did it, and it helped us to get where we won 3 premierships in a row.

Well they haven't done this in 13/14 years so I don't know how they're going to start doing this overnight !!
As you said, you couldn't hear the talking to each other on the ground.
Hopeless !!!!
