why Thornton (not mentioning any names
) and amongst others, waits on the opposition player to kick or handpass the ball, instead of running toward him and tackling.
The worst part is when a player is only 2 meters or so away, and we stand there waiting for him to kick it. Why are we waiting for him to find someone to kick it to?
Many times i have watched our players run along side of the opposition player, and yet they don't run at him to tackle.
Don't you think running toward the opposition player to tackle would put him under pressure?
It would give the opposition less time to find someone to kick or handpass it to.
I have seen way too many goals scored all because we did't run towards the opposition player and tackle him.
Whats your thoughts?
