Yes, i thank freo for beating melbourne so that the eagles remain the 2nd best team in the comp, but after watching todays game, Melbourne played like sh*t and there inaccuracy has to be one of the worst in the comp. Melbournes slide down the ladder has begun.

Being second on the ladder doesn't neccesarily mean you are the second best team in the comp. Personally I think the Eagles will be lucky to make the top four given the draw they have and how poorly they have been playing lately. Ladder position has a lot to do with other results as well as your own

Oh btw Ladder position does reflect the quality of the team. Adelaide has won what 14 games out of 16
and Eagles have won 12 and melbourne 11 etc
meaning eagles have won more meaning they are 2nd best in the comp. Cant argue with that

Actually, yes I can. Ladder position reflects performance over the course of the season to that point and is not a direct reflection of the teams performance at the minute. That said WCE are certainly not the 2nd best team in the comp atm though they have the ability to be that when their stocks are back up and playing well. I'd have them ranked somewhere 4-6 currently.
