I was actually under the impression that Jackson Trengove was actually called 'Trengrove' most likely due to the frequency with which people apparently misspell it. I've never had occasion before now to mention him, so I've never been a culprit thankfully
It was mentioned that he's a relation of Lance Franklin, but is Jeffrey Garlett any relation to the Kangaroo's Cruize Garlett? And why exactly was he living the way he was in Perth? I understand the circumstances of many Indigenous people are less than ideal, and that he was living away from his parents, but with his parent's respective professions, you'd assume that he'd have a bit more support from his family, be it financially or helping to set him up with some sort of accomodation in Perth or something. If not, you'd think that being relations that the Franklin family could have helped him out by offering a place to stay. I don't know their family situation and how relations between them are (if they are actually close or not), but it just seems strange how he was allowed to live in that way. You'd even think that someone at Swan Districts would have offered to take him in if they knew what was going on, as they seemed to according to that article. Anyway, he's in my Dream Team for now, and I wish him all the best, especially coming in from a difficult situation like that
