I have played nearly every Pokemon since it's inception.

Pokemon Y has given me my first, random, shiny.

I have no idea what the hell a Flaebbe or whatever is but god damn I am using it.

Is it an actual shiny? because they naturally have different colours

It is. It was the second one I found before I realised there were alternate colours which is lucky because otherwise I likely would have just smoked the little bugger with no idea what I was doing.

Bit of a pointless update from myself

I've got all 8 badges and I've just discovered in bored of Haxorus. Instead of going my old faithful Dragonite I've decided to go something different and I am currently training a Dieno. Excited for Hydreigon!

My team...
Pyroar lvl 62 (took a lot of restraint not to go charizard)
Luxray. Lvl 61
Aurorus lvl 65 (I'm a big fan of this)
Marowak lvl 61 (thick club makes this thing a beast)
Dieno lvl 45 (will boost it up before the elite 4)
Gardevior lvl 60

I'm keen to get rid of Gardevior, any suggestions??? I was thinking maybe a Starmie but I'm not sure. I've changed my mind a lot that's why my teams levels isn't very high.

God Pokemon is much harder if you don't have any idea who evolves into what or what their stats end up looking like.

Playing X/Y spoiler free and I'm copping a bloody hiding.

Also I hate the huge array of Pokemon. What sort of crap is this I can find Axels and Bagons and whatever that other itty bitty pre-rape machine dragon is just wandering around? Also can someone please tell me what the hell Fairy is strong/weak against? God damn Mr Mimes are supposed be bloody fodder but suddenly they're not weak to Dark and giving me a flogging.

I got to a streak of 73 for no shiny. Only had a low level malamar and my Fly Talonflame in my party at the time, and after one too many 'can't escape' both of them got knocked out and I ended up with nothing.

Out of the top 20 used Pokemon for online Overused, I've bred 17 of them with perfect stats now. Most of them are Ev trained and levelled too. Up to a total of 36 perfect Pokemon all together. Reallllllllly want a Hidden Power Fire Froakie with 30 special attack and speed though.
...And shinies, many more shinies.

I've got a Horsea from chain fishing, a pidgeot from safari zone, honedge from breeding and a flabebe random encounter.
Doing Yanma hordes every now and then to try get one of those.
