Polak at FF.

Jaysus IITB, SCHULZ.

When Thursty comes back, play them both up forward I reckon, unless we can give Freo stuff all (as generaly happens with their trading) and we get Pav to Punt Rd

I say we pick a position and stick with it, the young guy is going to get confused as to what his role really is and his confidence will go down the toilet.

CHF, FF, Ruck, CHB??? where does he actually play again?

This is probably the first time i'm going to have to disagree with you IITB.

Polak can't kick a goal from outside 30m and once we get a settled line-up he will be more of an asset down back.

Schulzy is the one that is going to take the reigns at full forward. He is a beautiful set shot and strong mark. He reminds me of Fevola at a younger age.... got all the tools, just needs to polsih them up a bit.

I just think he's a big imposing figure with a great grab. Im confident polak will improve as the season goes on and once simmonds is back in touch. Kicking is ok IMO.

AND LEAVE HIM THERE!!!!

Schultz CHB, richo retire.

Here fukcen hear~!

Mate,i had the same,"Vision":D last night but was too busy laffing at Botcho, sorry,Richo, having another usual nite out.

ATS,Polak is our best option.

He wants to make his mark and is a big, strong wog.
Hopefully has wog psycho about him as well.
Welcome Polak.

When Thursfield comes back we can alternate he and Schulzy if need be.

Put Richo out of the arc.

He goes good gathering the hard balls and dishing off to the runners.

This is where he should lineup

Happy for you to ask any of the other to retire... but Richo deserves more respect than that.

Just my opinion and l know full well, that there will be plenty that disagree.

This is why I hate Richmond supporters more than anything to do with the club itself. Sack the coach, sack Richo...go and get ****ed the lot of ya! Richo is not the problem...it goes far deeper than that, and to promote another wonky kick at his expense off one games results is foolhardy. :thumbsd:

I agree that Polak will only improve over the course of the season however last night he had a chance to really get the momentum back for us when he ran down and intercepted that ball inside 50, but he missed the goal.

If the ball was in the hands of Sarge, he would have most likely got the goal and we could have been talking about a win today instead of being 0-4.

Not being critical of Polly, coz he ain't really a forward. I just think if we are to build a team, we need someone inside 50 who we can continually rely on to convert ala Lloyd, Fevola, Hall, Pavlich and that man has to be Schulzy.

Thats just my opinion though....

polak is not a backman i repeat is not a backman. we have glaring holes at fb chb and chf. wallace has not played him down back. this suggests to me wallace knows he is not a backman to. can someone tell me why polak didnt get the job on darcy what a blunder by wallace. as for schulz i fail to see what makes people think hes going to be a player. he ahs been ordinary over the entire course of his career so far and thats being kind.

Polak is a backman, but his presence up the ground is needed at the moment.

FFS, Schulz is only 22. To suggest he is ordinary is stupid....:thumbsd:

have you seen polak play back i have lots of times and i can tell ya he is not a backman.at fremantle he was overtaken by haddrill johnson mcpharlin mundy thornton and drum. and as a kf couldnt oust murphy and pavlich. at east freo he played mainly as a kf.
as for schulz well ordinary pretty well sums him up i thought.ive had reservations about him for 3 or more yrs now. i also thought it was a mistake useing pick 12 on him. ive pretty well held back criticism of him because of his age but what really worries me is there has been no steady improvement with this bloke and to be honest i cant see where the improvements going to come from with him.
also would have thought polaks prescence was much more needed down back. after all we have a super star in richo and a future superstar in schulz playing forward atm. but down back just subpar.

The touble is not with our key forwards its our midfield.

It amaze's that people are still canning Richo even though he has kicked 700 goals whilst playing for one the worst performing era's of Richmonds history.

The man has to constantly deal with scrappy slow movement into the forward 50 by which time he is normally being double teamed or being forced to lead into the pockets due to flooding.

All those times we see Richo cracking the sh*ts is because the ball is not being moved quickly and long to a one on one contest which he wins most times.

Until our midfield can finally be directed to move the ball quickly into the 50 then we might aswell redraft Andrew Kellaway to play full forward.

Hopefully this is on Wallace's team indicator performance analyst report

Anyway I cannot believe anyone would seriously believe we are better off playing Polak at FF and dropping Richo!?!?!

I'd like to see Polak have a crack down back. With his high marking and good handpassing I think he can replace Kellaways courageous marking and be able to pass the ball off to our running players.

Considering Schultz is a good long kick then I would try him around CHF with Richo out of the square. I'd also like Hughes or Riewolt to come in to add a 3rd tall forward and try and stretch opposition defence.

Finally in the words of Sam Newman, KICK IT LONG!!!!!!!!!!

Polak's kicking for goal is worse then Richo

dont be fooled by the 3 last nite, they were all from 20 meters out

SChulz is our future full forward. He is a supurb kick for goal
cleve hughes will be our future ff riewoldt chf chb.schulz just doesnt get involved in the play enough. you need more from players other than taking 2 marks on the lead and kicking 2 goals.we have so many players who go missing for big chunks of games and by missing i mean not necessarily getting possesions but running and giving an option shepherding etc.

True, he's a terrible kick. Can't play him at CHB though, because you get opposition scores of 222. Play him as a loose man in defence. He's good at uncontested marks. :)

Richo is currently still the best marking FF in the game. One on One he will beat anyone. If he kicks 3-7 then that's ok because Shultz wil take half as man marks and then only kick the same amount of goals.

This is the best forward lineup
RFP - Shultz
FF - Richo or Kingsley
LFP - Brown
RHF - Pettifer
CHF - Kinglsey or Richo
LHF - Krackhour

Polak is CHB, Tambling on the ball and Simmo in the ruck...

I think Hughes is a certain CHF now.

He has kicked 6 goals in 2 games and has the highest goal average on our list this season!

...and Jack Riewoldt will be even better.
