I think that last bit was my point. But apparently if drizzler or cross-dresser or whoever it was hears from a mate of mate of a friend who once knew somebody else that Polak wanted to play for your mob, then that must be the truth. For all time. You can really see his reluctance to back into packs or stand his ground with a high ball coming in.

The words "Fremantle's first home-grown superstar" came from Cameron Schwab - who may be forgiven his ignorance of Freo's illustrious, super-star strewn history. He could, with some justification, believe the FFC to have begun again when he took over. In which case, I thought that honour would go to Hase, but there you go.

(The syllably-challenged South Fremantle idiots who took your mob to a cup or two last millenium have nothing to do with Fremantle Football Club. Thankfully. This is the Fremantle we are talking about for today's purposes. Please keep up.)

It was a Fremantle supporter who brought up the "a mate of a mate told me he wants to play for the Eags" line.

I would have thought that would have been haselby. the bloke's got a couple of years on polak but he is leaps and bounds ohead of him.

Yes, I did know he was staying but that's really neither here nor there. My point was how humourous these ill-informed daydreams are and particularly so the adamant statements of non-fact like "the main reason Polak will leave is that he doesn't have a position".

What was your point? Oh, that's right - you were fantasising. Carry on.

A Freo supporter may have brought it up, but drexel was the person I was speaking to and he used Polak "secretly wanting" to play for your mob as the best thing he learnt from this thread - or something along those lines.

I may have elided the two but you are hardly damaging my point with your assiduous eye. I mean, I know you're the guy who can spot a spelling error from across the Billy Walker Room but get a grip.

(i) it doesn't matter who Polak wanted to play for. He plays for us.

(ii) he will continue to play for us despite your dreams, wishes and idle speculation

(iii) the sources some of you types use are hardly what we would call "impeccable" and I am well within my rights to laugh at and deride them

(iv) there is no (iv)

reading some posts b4, alot of u said trade polak for fletcher.. r u ppl insane!!! No way!! Flecth is a brillant player with a bit of experience umder his belt and to trade him for polak- HELL NO! WE've got the best mifield ( when firing) in the comp. Why go and move the foundations of a good side for on KPP?
