Not sure what to say. Promises the world and delivers bugger all. Murphy is showing more promise at FF than Polak at CHB. Polak runs like he has a beach ball between his legs. Maybe he's suffering a case of the knob-too-long.

sabre ac (moderator) could you merge this thread with the other polak thread.

then delete this post if you want.

It will be interesting to keep a running score in one thread over the next few years.

Unfortunately for Graham he needs a reality check, another Club/Coach would help not to mention a new Manager, the ego tripper that currently looks after him is not the best option.

Polak and dodd OUT for sundays clash with sydney.
Caught drinking, naughty boys
they are both east freo boys
Polak's head not on right at the moment, if he keeps on like this surely he must be traded at seasons end - he should be in the prime of his career, but now is more than likely trade bait. He has the talent to be the best CHB in the comp...bloody hell there talking about trent Croad being All Aust CHB!! What a waste of talent!

Dodd - What were u thinking?

Who the ******** r we going to play on Hall? Hope to hell it rains!!

Michael Johnson - good luck son!!

I think Rip said it best in another thread. We all thought Glass and Hunter were duds of the highest order until about half way through last year.
Glass and Hunter were picked in the 99 draft and are about 24 years old
Polak in the 2001 draft and is 21 in a couple of weeks.

Lets not give up on him just yet.

Very disappointing about the drinking... but with CC dropping high profile players for both disciplinary and form reasons, what will the media/wiggles fans have to criticise him about?

So we'll probably have
Out: Polak, Dodd, Johnson out
In: Peake, Woods, Smith, Gilmore in?
Woods doesn't deserve a recall, but I'm struggling to find other tall options? Hopefully Johnson's ankle isn't that bad.

Hey its quite well known that polly loves the squirt and gets on it a fair bit, i think its good that he's been caught out - yes i know that we all drink, but the reality is that our jobs arent to be in peak physical fitness etc.. their body is their job - look after it and dont waste talent...

good on cc to drop him for this, showing a bit of an edge this season isnt he - not afraid to drop our only semi experienced tall when needed the most ..

Good reality check for Polly and Dodd.

This may be the turning point (in a positive manner) for Polly, just look at Chad Fletcher. At the time Chad was dropped (fined?) for drinking mid week, he was a nobody, after the indiscretion well he has risen to great heights.

At least CC is looking like he is trying to draw a line in the sand.

Shows a fair bit of courage, esp when our defence is so depleted and he needs a win to keep the wolves at bay.

partial to the odd smoke too apparently.

Give him to us, Woosh will sort the lad out.

And Gardy will show him how to roll the note just right to get a nice even flow of powder into the nostrils....

No problem, you have in fact just illustrated my point.

If the boy is going to play up, he should learn how to do it properly.

We'll also teach him the finer points of how to play the game at the same time.

Kudos for CC in dropping him, to instill discipline.
CC should have done it last year to Farmer & Hedland....

Polak - please, please send him to WCE

Wasnt this young player living with Croady when he was at Freo? A player who also wasted his time here and eventually got traded back? Maybe it explains his attitude atm.
