If North lose this Clarkson might step down
I know this is a joke, but they will have to sack him as he doesnt care so he wont be stressing. He will just stay there till it runs out otherwise lol. Easy money.

Norf and collingwood not bothering with clash guernseys like it's 1986
Unbelievable isnt it. Even in preseason FFS. Surely Collingwood could've arranged a 1 off dark kit. But instead.......

"Oh lets wear white away shorts, the predominant colour of our opposition, that'll do the trick."

Seriously **** the white shorts rule off. Such archaic shit.

Meanwhile I'm legitimately struggling in fast play to clearly see who is who in my peripherals.

Lol just saw the result of North and Collingwood and a laughing Tyson Goldsack chatting away to Clarko like they were in the same coaching group.

He learned well from the master.

Premiership defender Steven May made the decision last week to retire after his management and the club reached a confidential contractual settlement on Thursday. He will tell his teammates tomorrow.

The last line is funny.
Do you reckon they might know by then?

Wonder if their fans get nervous at the phrase "The crows are confident ..."

Last day of the SSP. Will the AFL telecast it? Will Port make an unexpected move for a third ruckman? Is Bigdog waiting outside AFL House? Hang onto your seats! Toot toot!

Has Blackwing remotely locked the phones of all central's players so they can't accept calls?

Just days out from the 2026 season starting, a number of clubs have finalised their playing lists as the Supplemental Selection Period (SSP) ends on March 2.
On Monday afternoon, AFL Media’s Cal Twomey reported Richmond has signed Thomas Burton as an SSP addition, ahead of the deadline. It was reported in late November that Burton, after being overlooked at the drafts, would trial at Punt Road in hopes of earning a rookie list spot.

Described as a small rebounding defender, Burton earned Talent League Team of the Year honours last year after averaging 29.0 disposals for Western Jets. Burton edges out fellow train-on Boston Dowling, who’d received a late call-up to train with the Tigers in hopes of realising his AFL dream.

Earlier, multiple outlets reported Melbourne’s signing of Casey Demons product Paddy Cross, who was picked up less than 24 hours after Steven May departed the club via a contract settlement. The 23-year-old forward signs after training with the club across the summer and winning Casey’s Rising Star award last year.

Out west, AFL Media reports that the Western Bulldogs have signed 26-year-old Will Lewis from their Footscray VFL side, edging out former Carlton forward Will White for the vacancy. White joined the Dogs’ pre-season group late after being let go out of Princes Park, but was ultimately not selected with Lewis effectively replacing James Harmes on Luke Beveridge’s list after his retirement last month.

And at Hawthorn, multiple reports have revealed Sturt star Flynn Perez will join a professional list for a second time, edging out fellow contenders Ethan Stanley and Jack Riding for a contract. The 24-year-old played 24 matches for North Melbourne between 2020 and 2023, but was plagued by injury in the early stages of his career having undergone two knee reconstructions.

I'm going out on a limb here. I don't think he's got the skills.

Lol the AFL thinks that Aussie rules should be a sport in the Olympics 😂😂😂😂
I don't reckon the AFL actually think that, but Brisbane 2032 president Andrew Liveris has asked the AFL and NRL to consider participating in the Winter Olympics.

The Brisbane Olympics will be held between 23rd July to 8th August.

For Sydney 2000, both codes moved their season forward a month and finished the first weekend of September and the opening ceremony was on Friday 15th September. It was a pretty simple move for both organisations.

The 2 codes aren't going to be as generous this time and have 3 or 4 weekends off, just as the season is heating up - unless they get a nice bribe offer.

So the organising committee will be offering an olive branch or six. For the NRL a state of origin game in the new main stadium in week 1 when there is no athletics on is a decent carrott, especially if V'landys is still around. What can it offer the AFL?? Maybe 2 state of origin games or 2 exhibition games at Gabba, seeing at this stage, nothing will be scheduled for the Gabba during the Olympics.

The flag football version of the NFL is in the 2028 LA olympics. It’s not as far fetched as it seems…..

It’s all soo incredibly dumb though haha

That is classic USOC / NBC / NFL rort and influence on the IOC. The AFL and NRL don't have that sort of influence and that's why Brisbane 2032 Prez Andrew Liveris is trying to get them inside the tent, and will offer them some sort of demonstration sport status/involvement in the Brisbane Games.
