Probably doesn't have the breakaway pace of Butters but certainly has the poise and creativity. I see him as more of a Pendlebury style player.
i think its mire the kicking he doesnt have

Tackling is born from intent. Carlton players don't give a sh*t. Voss said last year Hinkley has been his greatest mentor. Says everything you need to know.
If only he had an actual 4 time premiership coach that could have helped and mentored him. I can't think of anyone either.

Next week's Thursday night blockbuster is Carlton v Richmond.
So Carlton plays twice before either SA or WA team play their first. Sounds legit........

Bullsh1t round opened with high quality bullsh1t last night.

Had the game on in the background but never watched it with any real interest in it.

I'm avoiding it just on principle.

Zero Port = Zero interest.

Missed out seeing a gormless Boak on the Carlton bench with a headset.

We should pop the headset into the boak cabinet on castor wheels at the port museum.

He will be in Florent's ear about the importance of being a good person.

So the likes of Carlton, Collingwood and Geelong to name a few will have played two games before we have even started. I get the feeling that there are two divisions to this competition and Port are not in the top division.

Mind you if Carlton have another night like they had last night they will probably wish they hadn't started. ;)

Next Saturday we could have as many wins as Carlton.

This is just absolute BS.

From 2022-2025 Carlton had 8 All-Australians playing (Cripps, Walsh, Curnow, Weitering, Docherty, Saad & McKay). That's 2 AA's across every line or 35% of their team sheet judged in the elite of the comp.

For comparison, in the same time frame....

Brisbane: 6 AA's
Geelong: 6 AA's
Collingwood: 7 AA's

Port: 8 AA's
They have always had some very good forwards and on ballers like Judd.
There constantly shit at the back, always have been and it’s still the same.

Adelaide re-sign Rory Laird

I can see it now:

March 12 Carlton loses to Richmond
March 13 Voss given his marching orders
March 16 After an extensive nationwide search, the Carlton Football Club is proud to announce Ken Hinkley as its new senior coach for the next 3 seasons.
