I’d be jumping for joy at that draw.Is it true that our first 5 games are
Round 1: North Marvel
Round 2: Essendon home
Round 3: Richmond @mcg
Round 4: WCE home
Round 5: saints gather round
Also been told double ups are north, west coast, Essendon, Sydney, Freo and the crows.
Any truth to this?
YEAH PRETTY HARD
Tanner just rolling out a King's Counsel as his defence attorney... Bruce Lehrmann didn't even get that with everyone bank rolling his defence. Not according to Bruhn's lawyer Dermot Dann, KC who told the court the case had been “a horrible stain on the criminal justice system”.

More chance for the AFL to manipulate it so their favoured teams get a good run. We're bottom 6, but I doubt we get 4 bottom 6 games. The AFL would want Richmond and West Coast moving up the ladder, and getting back to generating big money and crowds, so expect them to get a bit of an extra leg up.Oh, and while we're dickering about with the game...

That's a decent start, if true, for the new coach's tenure. A 5-0 / 4-1 start is a fair chance. Is it true that our first 5 games are

I'd even take a wildcard as giving the two teams outside the eight that had the best record against top 8 sides during the Home & Away the wildcard spots. That'd at least give some hope the two teams outside the top 8 that'd give some contest get in, rather than those who can beat up on shit teams cough Hinkley coughyou can't have wildcards without divisions. In our case they are just the next best records.
Wildcards exist in NFL as teams may not win their division but still may have better records than division winners!
Three games at AO and North and Richmond away. Anything less than 4-1 would be a poor start. If those are the double ups that should be 8 wins from the first 4, Freo win home, lose away and I'd hope win our home Showdown under Carr (it'll take awhile for our big game adverse players to fully kick the Hinkley fear of consequential games to the curb). Is it true that our first 5 games are

Every time I read the name Ariana Grande I think of scissoring thanks to tribey. Before that post I was an innocent.

That might be Tanner going back into the lion’s den asking for a balance of probabilities judgment.Bruhn should sue the AFL for $10mil compo.
The AFL don't believe in natural justice - innocent until proven guilty.
There is no official Stood Down / No Fault policy, yet they stood him down and let Noah Balta play when he had been charged, admitted guilt, but hadn't stood trial yet.
Unlike the NRL or Football Australia, the AFL does not have an official no-fault stand-down policy, where players charged with serious criminal offences are banned from playing.![]()
Players’ Association blasts AFL over ‘disproportionate’ move
The union is demanding change after the young gun lost a year of his career.7news.com.au
NRL player Jack de Belin and A-League Men defender Ruon Tongyik are among those to have been stood down, then later returned to their respective careers. De Belin had sexual assault charges dropped in 2021 while in March this year Tongyik was acquitted of rape.
Richmond star Noah Balta was given a four-match club-imposed ban after pleading guilty to assault, but played a game before his trial in April.
The AFLPA, the players’ union, lamented the “long and flawed process” and demanded a change to the framework.
Edit forget this very important bit from the story that highlights a lazy AFL. All of the Collective Bargaining Agreement should have been sorted by 31st October 2022 - it wasn't until Septyember 2023, with this one exception still being unresolved as of today.
“Tanner was entitled to the presumption of innocence from the outset and throughout. It was clear to us that standing Tanner down would be premature and disproportionate,” the AFLPA said in a statement.
“The Collective Bargaining Agreement requires the AFL and AFLPA to resolve a Code of Conduct including proper processes and a sanctioning framework.
“This unfortunate set of circumstances is further evidence that such a framework is critical for the game. We remain committed to this work in the best interests of the players and Australian football.”
Sheedy invented anal.Did Sheedy invent Easter too!
So Hinkley turned them down.
Please say it’s true. They need to be stuck with Hinkley 2.0 for at least another 5 years.
Someone posted on the crows board that with the draw they have Nicks could be sacked before the byePlease say it’s true. They need to be stuck with Hinkley 2.0 for at least another 5 years.

They need far more karma to come their way before they can get rid of Nicks!Someone posted on the crows board that with the draw they have Nicks could be sacked before the bye![]()
They sound a bit jealous that we got rid of our Anchor and now they want the same.
