1. Polak was a steal, and will be a good player for us for some time.
2. Deledio>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Griffen

Ok my positives.

McGuane - He looks like he could settle in nicely, just needs a bit of poise.
The Youngsters - I don't think they'll catch the Richmond 'poison', I think they'll turn out ok.
Edwards - Looks classy

Negatives
Tackling - all aspects. We can't break tackles, we can't lay tackles, what is going on!!
First Half - The first half had mistakes, the second half had mistakes, the first half had no intensity or pressure, the second half we did. I don't mind the guys making mistakes, as long as they keep up that intensity.

Look I love Axel Foley to death, and he did go in and get a lot of the ball last night, but he turned it over far too often. He seems to look to try and duck into an impending tackle rather than kick the ball, a lot of handballs were intercepted by the opposition.

Just kick the bloody thing!!

We havent lost by 100 points yet this year :thumbsu:

yeah thats a positive thats born from a negative. Do you know what that negative is? DO you remember the "we want to kick winning scores" line?
How many times have we hit the 100 point mark this year? Once, and that was last night. You tend to not kick winning scores when you are defending grimly and you also tend not to get beaten by a hundred at the same time;)

Big negative-too many handballs - hospital ones at that.

One sortie we literally moved the ball to the half forward line by hand then coughed it up to the opposition.

Joel Bowden had a great game.

One potent goal kicker would do our team wonders-crossing toes and fingers for Browny.

Struggling to find positives.
- We lost
- I lost my wallet outside the ground

Ripper night..... :thumbsd:

Sorry to hear Duckboy.

Another negative-crumbing forwards which was just mentioned on 3LO by Stan Alves and I fully agree.

Every time the ball went to the talls, there were no crumbers waiting at the bottom of the pack allowing the Bulldogs to clear from defense too easily.

Good player Raines. I'm astonished that with his speed and skill that he was picked up so late in his draft. Another victim of AFL recruiters contempt for small defenders I guess. Why do kids need a midfield fitness base anyway? That's something they can build if they have the right attitude.

Hate the loss BUT...we are finally able to play the style of football that will eventually make us highly competitive without getting towelled by 100 points or flooding the guts outta the game. We can pick and choose this player over that but ferk the bone pointing, it is only good to vent ya slpeen. After last night I thought we are definitely improving. Everyone had a dip, and had it for the full 4 quarters and the game plan always stayed on the attacking running style. Yeah we got rolled by 30 odd points but that will change. The maggots didnt exactly do us any favours either. I can cope with a season like this so long as they keep having a red hot go and there is improvement.

This time last year I'd flown to Melb twice for 2 100 point hidings so not grizzling about 2007 so far.
