Positives

Kerr above and beyond our best player today.
Waters- Courageous as always
Mcginnity- For being more busy and less noticeable than usual

Negatives

Bloody hell, massive question marks over this midfield. We can't compete for a premiership if we're getting smashed in the clearances, week after week, Selwood and Priddis our inside players are getting well beaten, and are well down in recent weeks. Shuey was very quiet

We massively missed Glass, you can't help but think Pavlich would not have starred and gone off with his goal haul.

Forward line were quiet, forward press non-existent. Getting burned on the counter attack time after time.

Positive - Swift hit some targets, Always have next week, Kerr, Darling

Negatives - Can't handle not having glass around, Injuries starting to take their tool, Midfield being outclassed the past few weeks, Forward line not functioning, Scotter, Freo won, The shit Swift is coping on my facebook for doing nothing wrong from both supporters poor form!

Negatives: Players supposedly in our top half dozen consistently under performing - Priddis, Hurn, S.Selwood, Nic Nat (Harsh I admit).
Freo nearing the 8

Positives...
Daniel Kerr.. He gets Absoluely trashed every game and never stops trying!
Tom Swift & Mitch Brown thought they were good today!
Least we won't be at the tribunal this week! Freo on the other hand....

Negatives....
Effort or lack there off
I'm in the doghouse for arguing about the pavs clip on brown
The massive difference between our best and worse!

NEGATIVES: we have gone backwards from last year and we have no beaten anyone above us , NOT BLOODY GOOD ENOUGH GGGGGRRRRR
Injuries. I don't think we should be overly surpised that the wheels have fallen off. I've never known a team to have the outs and instabilities like ours and hold their heads above water.

Positive:

- Kerr and Darling.
- Swift was good.
- I have learnt to not get angry in defeat this season, and hence my family don't hate me anymore.

Negative:
- 20 players were appalling.
- The expected results of the ump bitchfest has really come around, to the point where our players are being flat out discriminated against. The umpiring was as close to deliberate cheating as I think I've seen.
- The fact that I don't get angry anymore means that I've lost hope, and that's sad.

lol you guys won the clearances, i'd talk about a serious need to harden the heck up because that was a beasting, not zoning, not midfield, beasting, can't duck your head when the beasts coming

Positives
Schofields beard. That is all, there is nothing else positive about the game that i can think of....

Negatives (oh this will be fun, better take a seat people..)
Worsfold getting a coaching lesson by Ross Lyon... Name 1 decent coaching move worsfold made... all game?
The dockers won literally every position on the ground apart from Kerrs and probably Gaffs. Even darls lost.
As usual our team was a bunch of pansies who couldn't get angry or go hard at the ball, kept losing there feet.
I CALLED IT PEOPLE... yet another game where the opposition ruckman took the honors over cox and Nicnat.
Nicnat playing disgustingly bad and falling over or laying on the ground all game.
After worsfold said he wouldn't play anyone who wasn't 100%... nicnat spent 5 hours getting a rub down
Get used to this sort of output from shuey on a regular basis people, it's a little thing called a tag.
Nobody really put in a decent effort apart from Kerr, Gaff, Darls, and Waters.
Stupid turnovers, ie scooters, one of many.

I could go on and on reciting each players failings, but i'm over it. This season has been shit and frustrating as hell compared to last year, and with the exeption of Gaff and Darls regular improvment and discovering that Hill can play the odd token game every now and then it's been a total waste.

Negatives wce pumping Bris and not resting players in the last quarter when the game was well and truly won to prepare for Freo and the last remaining games .
We were so flat today after a massive 4 q effort against Bris and we didn`t even travel we should have been energized and played like a top 4 team instead of dishing that crap up .

+thought swift was good
+only have 6 days to wait to hopefully wipe that one from the memory bank.

Sorry to intrude but Daniel Kerr is just a ******* superstar, the more battered/roughed up he gets the better he plays; unreal player.

Probably our only midfielder to stand up.

Watching he get clearance after clearance and then have no one to give it too was hard to watch.

Darling earmarked as a stager yet, few more times and hes done, wouldn't want to be 100+ kilo's playing that role with that hanging on head, get hurt no doubt, think he figured that out when he stained neck from that "high" bump, bit easier when your 8-kgs like Leeroy Jetta

Yeah good point actually, getting bumped high should never get a reaction. Darling should e suspended tbh, McPharlin's bump was magnificent.

Same goes for Schofield, faking blood pissing out of his head as that Clancee fella runs past the ball.

Negatives:
We lost
My tipping
it was the Dockers FFS.
The Umps - didn't cost us the game. Freo were hard at the ball, which I think that is the point of the poster above?? But really, is there such a thing as a consistency in what constitutes a decision or not.

Positives:
Pav - Eat your heart out Shuey - if that's not 2 weeks I'll burn my scarf.
It's not the GF.
Still confident will get another Premiership before the Dockers.
Reality check for Woosha - although as the guy from Essendon points out, what can you do without your best 22 on the field?

NB: In the interests of being fair and balanced I'm being really polite here.

Probably our only midfielder to stand up.

Felt genuinely frustrated for him he had nobody working for him the whole game, I'm not used to seeing the Eagles so undisciplined at sticking to their structures.

I have to agree with BB point in the Game Day thread that the players just looked completely disinterested. I mean when Mundy overtakes then burns off 3 players you have to wonder.

Maybe it's like Freo in 2010 (or was it 2009?) where you had all those injuries. You kept winning and everyone was impressed how you kept going then suddenly it caught up to you and it all fell apart.

This whole year has felt like we are just trying to keep our head above water. Never have any breathing space just enough to get by.

When we lost Lecras, Nicoski, Embley and Kennedy early in the year people asked if we could still win the flag. Guess we got the answer.

It's not just us, Essendon is in the same boat.
