* Richard Cole consolidating his spot in the side and looking a genuine 10 year player.

* Dane Swan showing he is more than capable at AFL standard and could be in the same boat as Cole.

Anyone else got any?

Mullins was ok in the Freo game and looks like he can play a bit. Also McGough has played well in the last two games and I'm happy that he is getting a go. Hopefully he can continue his form, especially with Burns missing for a few weeks.

BEN JOHNSON

I tipped him as All-Australian back pocket in January, so I'm chuffed.

GO JOHNNO!!!

Also:

* Swanny - I didn't think he'd make it at all but has added poise to his game. A clever thinker, too.

* Goughy - Skills by foot have definately increased, though still a tad dodgey here and there. Could be a perfect replacement for Burnsy if he keeps on the improve.

* Cam Cloke - I know it's only been 2 games (well 1 and 1/2 really) but methinks Cam could be around for the long haul. Very gutsy and a top grab for a 19 year old.

* Coley - Teaming up with Johnno streaming out of defence.....brilliant.

Yeah ive been wrapped with johnno, josh fraser and swanny this year
i was also a mcgough fan, glad to see him getting a game and doing a good job
i was, before this season, an obree fan...but i think he has been woeful, not including sundays game which i thought was pretty good, hopefully he can string a few like that together
i think its great swanny has stepped up, i like the way he goes about it, he has shown a real steadiness in our backline in the past 4-5 games, whatever he has played...

bring on the next 5 rounds i say, im looking forward to it

Last week O'Bree lifted his trade price. That's a positive. Cameron Cloke has hardly set the world on fire but he has shown some signs that he will be a big strong CHF like we have craved since probably The Wied. Richards looks at least not too out of his depth. The side without a frew stars has improived over the 6 weeks. So far there are too many negatives though. If we win the nest 2 we can be a lot happier but we have to do it yet. I think we will.

Not many, really.

Lonie looks better at the one-one one contests
Leon's cameo's before getting injured were pretty good
Swan looks like a reguler in the 22
Richards is developing slowly but surely
C Cloke showed a bit
Davidson showed a lot but thats not really a positive unfortunately
Cole is coming along strong.

Ben Johnson is a huge positive - will win the Copeland

Fraser and Richards slowly evolving into ruckmen has to be the highlight so far.

Promise from youngsters is heartwarming but more cannot really be expected from them for another 2-3 years.

I think everyone writing us off is a huge bonus, we will smack a few sides if they don't take us really seriously.

My boy Stinky McGough is back in the team and kicking arse, hence proving that I know my footy and am not insane!

Dane Swan is also proving the arguments I made last year.

So long as my opinions are vindicated, it doesn't really matter where we are on the ladder!! ;)

Still can't kick arse over a tin can, and misses the target too much!!!

Use him as a centre clearance player and he is worth gold. With Burns out make that Platinum. I can’t recall so much negativity about a 19 year old with so many Brownlow votes in his first year ever. He definitely has weaknesses but he gets the damn ball and he gets rid of it quickly. IMO he is a must selection every week.
