I did get some free pet food as well when walking out of the G which is about the only positive I can take out of the day.

Overall, I have been able to take our heavy losses (i.e St.Kilda, Adelaide, Collingwood) a little better as they are amongst the benchmarks in the competition. Today though was a putrid effort against another very average side which was the most disappointing part.

The only positive is that I wont have to watch our rubbish team after the next 2 weeks.
I can see little positives in a team that is thrashed by Melbourne. We are many years from being a competitive team

For me, the positives were only 5:
1. Drum and Mayne
2. I won't be coming down to Melbourne to see a Freo game hoping for a win until next season - so many months to do other things!
3. Mundy actually put in pretty hard for the first three quarters.
4. Hilly is really developing his defensive ability - I'm rapt at how well he is coming along.
5. Despite the dross that was dished up, every single Freo supporter in the three bays around mine (and there were about 300) stayed until the very end of the game. No leaving early from our passionate, loyal fans!!

Positives....

The game has finished
The season's almost over
We'll get pick 3 instead of 5
The dumb arses have shown again why they should be de-listed
Essendon will not take next week seriously giving us a chance of getting within 5 goals
We have another chance to prove ourselves as the most loyal and dedicated supporters in the competition
Our youngsters will never want that to happen again and will develop a steely resolve to prevent it
It's a lovely day in the Pilbara. (I'm going to walk off my anger and disgust)

Great seats, for such a cheap price - and the sun was great for the last half hour or so. Plus we got green footballs, and we got to go on the G.

I got some free pet food on my out of the G.

Yes, excellent freebie - especially 'cause I was able to give mine to a couple of young ladies walking their blue heeler down Spring Street less than an hour later. Never thought free pet food could be such a great conversation starter!!
