yep, mcphee, like solomon before him, has the inate ability to make those around him walk a little taller. He may not be the greatest player on the list, but his value to the team cant be measured with pure statistics. he will be VERY important next week and leading into the finals

totally agree with this,whilst not the most skilled player ,we all saw why he was recruited.....smashing into the opposition any chance he could and throwing them to ground when he tackled(making sure they earned their kick) generally making the rest of the team play in a more aggressive manner......lets just hope he unleashes on Embley this weekend

I've said something similar in the Hill thread. I think McPhee particularly has the ability to block/assist for Hill. We even saw Hill joining in the McPhee mellee. :thumbsu:
 
Hill went in and won a bit of hard ball too. He looked very willing. I think the move to the backline has worked wonders, he's starting to play with some enjoyment again. At one point he was linking up in the forward line then seconds later was boring in down back.
Great signs. When Mundy and Morabito are back in the side & Fyfe proving untaggable it's going to give the opposition some headaches working out who to try and stop.
