Positives!

Streamed the game and thought you guys gave it a good go. I think some of the positives include return to form from many of the group, importantly Barlow, Sandi and Pavlich. Had a lot more run this week. I know its a simplistic view by could have been a different result without Rory Sloane for Adelaide. Not sure who was on him (commentators seemed to suggest Clancee was at times) but he is a good player thats for sure.

Loved Crowleys job on Scott Thompson, he has been good this year and really underrated. Not that many midfielders let alone the taggers that kick the goals he does.

Pearce was on Sloane.. and it shows you how bad Clancee was yesterday. Sloane ran all over him, like he wasn't there.

Yep, I came away from the game feeling more positives than negatives.

Agree with alot of the positives mentioned, but I haven't seen much mention of Mundy. I thought he really started to show some of his old skills yesterday. It has been a long road back for him but is following Barlow in the weekly improvement. Maybe I just see things differently from my seat in the outer ??!!.

Elvis was darn good.

We got a glimpse of where we are heading. Evolving game-plan and gradual change of personal with new disciplines built-in. Very happy with what I saw.

We looked good when we were attacking and actually took the game and almost won it

Other than Hill, Neale's ball handling under pressure was the cleanest we had. Kids going to be a jet. If you can't see that you weren't watching!

we trailed at 6 goals in the 2nd quarter, Freo of old would of Given up and lost by 10 or 15 goals. We fought back.

Neale was ok, Hill ran his guts out. Crozier did good in the 3rd. Impressed he won a holding the ball decision against 2 crows. Mayne is still 100% from set shots.

Freo used the tactics they had in round 1 againt the cats and we got back in the game because of it.

No he just seems contemptuous of Freo. Healy is more balanced critical when warranted and gives praise when deserved. Shaw also has a tendency to dismiss everything Jako says, as though if he disagrees with Shaw he couldn't possibly know what he is talking about. Commentators who are totally Melbournecentric should just commentate in Melbourne, like Drew Morfett from the ABC radio and send people over here who actually give a s*** about WA football.

Shaw's incapable of an independent thought. He usually just parrots whatever the status quo is. Once Freo start playing well and are remarked upon by other commentators, he'll jump on board.
