My changes would be minimal. The players on the verge of dropping last week (Lica, O'Brien, R.Shaw) played some important roles and redeemed themselves somewhat.

Do we need to be harsh and drop a debutant?

My changes would be:

In: Clement, Johnson
Out: Wakelin, Cox (if Clement fit) (no match up against Port?)

If Clement or Johnson are not fit I'd bring in Egan or Nicholls or maybe even Davies. Bryan might be a bit of a chance to allow Fraser to be the 3rd tall, despite missing the Willy game.

Rumour is Clement will miss another 1 or 2 and Lonie is out for a further month so count them out.

If so i'd bring in Johnson for Wakelin as Port havn't got a lot of tall forward options.

Not sure how Brogan is but Tredrea, Cornes and White will need to be covered.

Still I would have Clement in for Wakelin and leave it at that. Would like to see Richards and Bryan swapped as well. If JOhno is fit then I would bring him in for Cox.

Bit hard though - like to see the new kids given 2 weeks at least

Johhno in for treacle (oops I mean Licca).

Clement will be ok he will come in for Wakes.

I would keep Cox and if they need to drop anybody make it Toovey.

Before Lonely from 50 abuses me again. Toovey got the softest and undeserved free kick of all time in the last quarter (no way that was a push in the back) - took a stomach mark off another pie and nearly dropped a gimme 35 metres out.

Got away with him once ...Having said that if they bulk him up - they have lightened him up it seems I am sure he could carve out a career as a hard nosed defender in the mould of a Gayfer.

Egan for Toovey completes it for me.

Out: Cox
In: Clement

B: Maxwell, Prestigiacomo, O'Brien
HB: H. Shaw, Clement, R. Shaw
C: Swan, O'Bree, Lockyer
HF: Davis, Cloke, Toovey
F: Thomas, Rocca, Medhurst
R: Fraser, Licuria, Pendlebury

Int: Wakelin, Dick, Burns, Richards

If Ben Johnson comes up Wakelin will sit out. Either way, Johhno and Dids will be ready to go for Essendon.

Licca should be dropped, even if its only for 1 week, he is out of form. Some players at willy are in form, simple.

I would swap for Bryan, At least give the bloke ago

What did Harry have to redeem himself for?

He wasn't exactly in the same boat as the others and he was ok against WCE, but if he had a poor game he would of been under pressure. But he beat Pettifer so he is definately in. I think he could become our #1 man to put on the dangerous small forwards.

Yeah, I agree. I'm not sure how he'd cope with the real speed machines, but I think he'd be able to go with most of the others. He's more competitive overhead than Johnno and Tarx, and he hits hard when he tackles.

In the third quarter Harry was on the wing ( I think) He was playing much better than he does when his in the backline. I think Mickey should give him more of a run on the wing. He admits the wing is his most fav position.

Yeah, he made a couple of forays forward early in the third, which helped get us moving. I think Brad Dick got on the end of one of Harry's (rushed) kicks into the forward line, and he broke a tackle on the wing and launched us forward shortly afterward. But I'm not sure he was genuinely playing on a wing. More than likely, he followed his man up the ground and into the play.

I'd like to see Harry settled in the back half. That might then allow us to release Heath into the middle more often. And I think between Thomas, Heath, Swan, Lockyer and a few others we have plenty of options on the wings, but we aren't overendowed with defenders who can negate small forwards, which has been an Achilles heel for us in recent years.

For those reasons, I'd like to see Harry played as a back pocket/flank in the foreseeable future.
