I don't usually come into opposition boards but i today i had too. Absolute wonderful effort by your mob today. Congrats on a job well done. Still bitter over round 11 but my hate for essendon is stronger. Well done to the mighty saints today, great things are coming.

I've been critical of us playing an old team while rebuilding, but today was amazing.

Our best on ground: Longer, Steven, Armitage, Lonie, Roberton, Newnes and Bruce. All will be in the push for the next flag (hopefully). That win is just so uplifting for the morale of the club and boosts the confidence of all the young blokes.

The Really Good:

Armo: Beast mode continues. He'd been a bit flat the last few weeks but he was dominant today.

Steven: 11 tackles and a 3 goal assists. Keeping up his top notch form.

Longer: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. A glimpse into the future.

Roberton: Amazing. 31 disposals. 5 r50s and 7 i50s and 8 marks.

Weller: I really, really like him as a defensive forward. Drop the midfield tag and let us just go head to head and have Weller lockdown their dangerous half forwards. He's got really good hands so he can be a solid threat up forward. He helps bring a bit more bigger bodied pressure up forward as well to back up our smaller guys.

Membrey: Another glimpse into the future. Give him a few more years and he'll be more consistent and will be putting out some massive games.

Newnes: More of the same from him. He is having a massively underrated season by most outside the club. Love it.

BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE! That is all.

Ross: Is proving he can get the ball. Needs to work on his disposal a little bit but he's still probably working of the rust from his time out. I'm a massive fan.

Lonie: Love him. So much pressure and such good skills and vision. I only wish he'd kicked a couple more of those goals. He'd be a lock for the rising star nom if he had. He deserves it.

Sinclair: He's so silky but needs to get more of the ball at this level. It's like there is a universal law that he must kick 1 goal a game. He's a really smart footballer and I can't wait to see him work into the game more.
