why cause he is ****ing an ugly chick who wears too much make up?

or his is a visy board ambassador and gets some great coin on the side

An ugly chick? Christ, I don't know what your standards are.

Best of luck to Gibbs. Wish he was able to be at the Crows but I guess thems the breaks sometimes.

Adelaide need to get Bryce Gibbs before its to late, we saw tonight Cooney win Charlie and now he will never come home. The Crows need to push to make it happen.

3 Way Trade:
Adelaide
Gain: Gibbs, (Pick 24), (Pick 37)
Lose: Griffen, (Pick 10), (Pick 28)

Carlton
Gain: Warnock (Pick 10)
Lose:Gibbs, (Pick 24)

Fremantle
Gain: Griffen, (Pick 28)
Lose: Warnock, (Pick 37)

While some may disagree i think it is rather fair. Fremantle Gain A direct replacement for warnock and a second rounder.
Adelaide lose Griff Pick 10, but upgrade their second rounder and get Gibbs who has potential that exceeds anything pick 10 will get us.
And carlton get the Ruckman they want and an extra pick in the top 10. Also with Warnock coming to the club and Marc Murphy looking to re sign, the Blues salary cap is at a maximum, and the lose of a player such as gibbs may be the price that has to be paid for overpaying judd and fevola

You are certifiably insane if you think Carlton are going to consider upgrading a second round for a first and getting an out of contract, as-of-yet unproven ruckman a fair return for Gibbs.

You don't think its fair? We get an unproven ruckman and in return we give up a player who's currently on the road to being one of our greatest players ever.

What's not to love about that trade? :thumbsu:

Don't forget you get pick 10!

The Crows will never get near Bryce Gibbs because they will never get a draft pick low enough to trade for him. So unless we develop an unbelievable talent ourselves (say Walker/Dangerfield turn out to be as good as we hope) and then trade them, Gibbs is gone. It's time people gave up this hobby horse.

i agree; people should get over it, but with talks of securing Pavlich still continuing, you'd think the 'potential trade for Gibbs' thread will continue until he's about 26 years old and beyond...and enough of these unrealistic potential trades, which obviously favour the crows.

I would be really disappointed if we got Pavlich. God, imagine how much we'd have to give up for him! Someone earlier today said something about us trading away Griffin and our first and third round draft picks for Pavlich!! I think I'd throw up. I know he's an awesome player but come on, that ship has sailed and we are a couple of years away from making a serious challenge.

As for Gibbs, he's be bloody handy but it's not as though it was a superstar forward that we missed out on by being screwed over with the F/S rule. We have a good, developing young midfield, that should be at the very least servicable for a number of years. I'd take him in a heartbeat but we can cover not having him.

yes, we got screwed with missing out on a no.1 draft player, but that's in the past, so, as long as the F/S rule pays back the crows with dividends in the future, i'm satisfied...and at least we got Walker, pretty much for free, which btw, i'm ecstatic about...as something finally goes our way.

There's still time for something to go wrong there!! Touch wood :p But yes, it is good.

Really, when you look at it, a lot has gone gone right for the Crows in terms of nothing picks turning into great players. Imagine where we'd be if we hadn't managed to snare Johncock with the second-last pick in the draft, Rutten and Bock as rookies, Hentschel and Edwards in the PSD, Porplyzia for a rookie + a PSD, and so on and so forth. If Griffin gets traded for a second-rounder, that's another rookie pick that's turned into a pretty handy player/draft pick.

The problem for the Crows has been that our sure bets have all gone sour! :(
