I think we should trial a new voting system this pre-season.

5-4-3-2-1.

I'll start.

5 - Scott Thompson (4 quarters of hard running & good disposal)

4 - Cameron Bruce (All class this bloke, but where is his opponent?)

3 - Ryan Ferguson (Great start from the kid, always looked like beating Richo)

2 - Guy Rigoni (Good to have him back, quick hands & he certainly went in)

1 - Simon Godfrey (Fantastic 2nd half)

Moorcroft & Heffernan were good early (Heff in particular)

We had a lot of solid contributors.

Neeta & White were below par I reckon although if White had kicked 4.0 instead of 1.3 he'd have gotten a pass mark.

Aaron Rogers certainly got a lot of opportunity in the 2nd half. He looked ok at times, but dropped to many chest marks for my liking. Throw him in again next week I reckon.

Jamar was good in the centre bounces, he's still got a bit of work to do on his around the ground work I reckon.

Lamb,Bizzell,Miller,Walsh & Whelan looked good down back when needed too (rarely!).

Robbo & Ward had pretty good games too.

5 - Cameron Bruce (what a star!)
4 - Ryan Ferguson (great effort for 3 quarters)
3 - Andrew Leoncelli (was good i thought)
2 - Clint Bizzell
1 - Russell Robertson (for that grab and the 3 goals)

5. Bruce - Just keeps getting better.
4. Bizzell - Knows no pain, shows no mercy.
3. Ferguson - I hope this kid plays in the season proper, deceivingly strong for his size.
2. Wheatley - I hope the move to a wing is more perminant.
1. Thompson - This kid will make it.

Heffernan was solid, but a couple of OOTF made me leave him out of the votes.
Moorcroft was good at times, but is very much hit-and-miss, as once he's made a first effort he will usually be lying on the ground.
Neitz had a game to forget, but he wasn't really being targeted.
Ward and Whelan had solid games.
Walsh was superb at times.
Godders was great during a 20 minute period, if only he could play like that all the time!
Robbo's game was very much a cameo effort.
Any news on the severity of Greens A/C joint?
White needs to work on his set shots, but his presance was good. Jamar did well in the ruck while also pushing into the backline.
Hopefully guys like Rogers and Jamar will be persevered with for the rest of the pre-season, and I hope Breese and Poyas get a run.
Lastly, how good was it to have Riggers back?

Overall a good run, its giving us a chance to test out various players who wouldn't get a game with the full squad availible, hopefully the preperation can continue as planned :D
